I just got the watch and I'm pretty happy with its functions! I was just worried about the battery cause as you say in the video, xiaomi says: 12 days under normal use. But my battery only lasts exactly the time you say! I was about to give it back thinking about a battery problem! Thanks a lot for your real and accurate review!!!

That being said the Xiaomi smart band 8 pro isn't available in France where I live. Need to order it from Chinese websites I suppose.
Aside from the AMOLED screen (which I believe is not such a big deal), is there any advantage to this band compared to the Redmi watch 3 (active)?

The Redmi watch 3 is Amoled plus has a bluetoth call. So is it still better than the new Redmi watch active 3? Since it only has LCD 400 nits I think. Is the Amoled V.S LCD that large of a difference?

Just got this watch on deal, first day wearing it today and liking it.
I'd like more faces to download and hold simultaneous too, so that's slightly disappointing, but there are custom apks which may solve that, I've not tried. Second, I have to use the phone app more, but I'd like to see my data i.e. sleep on PC or more charted out somewhere. Being able to export it would be great. 3rd My web Xiaomi profile doesn't seem to have linked the device yet.
Ideally I'd like compass, gps and nfc but it's cheaper for a reason.
The camera clicker was novel but no video view finder on the watch.
I've not tried calling yet.
I think the battery will last 6 days as it's on 83% now.

There is no option to enable and make events notification on Mi fit app for redmi watch 3 active,while on mi band 6 it works perfect.

Sadly, it can only take regular calls. It can't be used for calls through Messenger, Viber or Whatsapp.
