    At the start of the film, I dig in coal which is still reasonably warm😱. We have used coal here to thaw the ground. We have about 1 meter of frozen ground here 🥶🥶. This is a very effective way of doing it.
    Otherwise, in the video, we rebuild the road we have crossed with our ditch. It is good to have a local road again for the people who live there. So then we drive 20/120 with a dumper and leveling 0/20 over this😀👍

    Hi. Can you show what kind of work light and camera you have at stick . Looks like a good spot. Why your camera angle is not correct?

      I can show what I have as a light on the stick, but it is only an original CAT lamp which is quite flat and sits well between the log and the boom👍. The other lamps are from rigid🤩👍. Very happy with them🤩. The camera on the stick could have been set at a slightly higher angle, but it is not easy to set it to all the angles you need😳. I mostly use it to look inside the boxes of trucks when I have to take crushed stone out of them or when I stand so low that I can't see inside when I load masses onto them😀👍

    Just found your channel. Very interesting stuff. So do they lay the coal on the ground they want you to soon dig up? How cold is it? Greetings from the US!

      We use coal to thaw frozen ground around fiber cables. This is a very effective way of doing it👍. It was a meter thick with frozen ground😩. But it was gone overnight because it gets so hot from the coal. We had about minus 27 degrees when I filmed this🥶🥶🥶

    why is there hot stuff on the ground ?

    • @Vidarsteinsland
      @Vidarsteinsland  Před měsícem

      We use barbecue coal to thaw frozen ground so that it is easier to dig in winter to find fiber and power cables. This is a very effective way to thaw the frozen ground 👍.
