Studying physical therapy and these videos are extremely helpful, thank you so much!
Thank you so much! We're really glad to hear they have been helpful! 🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing us this video . There is just a typo error in the summary part ,it's written shoulder instead of hip
Extremely useful.
Thank you! Great help!
1Great video I loved the way you explained, assessed, and palpate the bony landmarks and muscles of the hip. 10:17 the title of the PowerPoint says "observation of the shoulder" you were talking about the hip. Thank you for the quality of the information!
Thank you so much William! And thank you for letting us know about the spelling error! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I Didn't realise how similar sports therapy and physiotherapy are when i comes to techniques and clinical assessments!
This was great.
Thank you so much Leah! Hope you enjoy our other assessment videos 😊
Thanks so much
You’re very welcome!
Good useful detailed explaination
Thank you!
@@ClinicalPhysio please give tips for treatment of tendonitis, bursitis
for the palpation of the rectus femoris it's between the sartorios and the TFL not medialy compared to sartorios because from what i know rectus femoris insertion is on the inferior anterior iliac spine and cannot be where you showed it
Hi! You are correct the Long Head of Rec Fem is A.I.I.S. The origin of Sartorius is A.S.I.S which is more superior and lateral to A.I.I.S. This is why for the INSERTION of Rec Fem, you may be palpating more medially than Sartorius
Do the sacrumilliac joint
👍👍
Why don't the orthopedic doctors do this? Even the hip surgeons just talk, that's all. Talk. Even though the MRI shows a hip labral tear, the pain, when I have it, seems to be in the tendons and muscles in the hip region, which seem extremely weak, extraordinarily tight, and vulnerable. I need a competent physical therapist to figure this out.
By the way, this is the most helpful video on the subject I've come across.
I'm 75, male. Otherwise in good shape.
