I usually prefer quantum charge for mathilda cause she use basic more often than other supports or mages. it really helps especially when you are playing tank/support mathilda, for chasing assassins and other agile heroes that are away from the river (while using wilderness blessing).

I love playing as mathilda especially if enemy has less ranged heroes as melee heroes just cant do anything to you while SS. She is just very mobile and even helps everyone in the team be just literally everywhere in the map. I build her with 40% CD which means i spam s2 to move and SS everytime i see enemy, whats even nutty is someone can just follow you up making every gank almost 100% successful
@@malvxi._ magic shoes dire hit, enchanted talisman, glowing wand, genius wand, holy crystal, blood wings, execute, mage emblem, agility, wilderness blessing, quantum charge. you can also go for assassin emblem just be smart with quantum charge so you zone enemy for easy escape and chase also know when and where to dash during ult, when in a pinch use ult to counter or escape, if enemy has no range hero theyre pretty much useless. unless you're dying, dont use skill2 during skill 3, only use it before or after to chase or escape the idea is to keep roaming for ganks only solo if enemy overextended and always ban edith because her weakness is range basic attack heroes.
im a mathilda main. n yes.. i agree, this update made mathilda more fun. I been doing this, but try using damage build with Green roaming boot. late game, everytime u S2, u can heal while running away.
Idk if you know about this already, but when ur in a unfavourable situation and need to run with ur ult, try dashing through the enemies. This way there’s a rlly high chance the enemy dies in the process. It’s even more recommended to do it if u have flicker as u can still run if you mess up, and second skill cooldown would mostly be done by the time ult is over
Even as I play her as mage, I see to it that I build her Oracle because it's so useful to her. It's enhances her shield, the spell vamp/lifesteal, and the cd reduction😍
I personally just build enchanted talisman with support emblem no matter what for that sweet 45% cd reduction it's pretty crazy how low her ult's cd is

Actually, the new passive of the Concentrated Energy synergizes well with her Ulti. That kill in the jungle on Alpha (9:25) showed your passive maxing out at 6, increasing your damage. You get healed, and immune too. What's not to love

You will keep flying even if Franco ult you. You will also keep flying when Yin ult you during your flight but you will get stuck on his wall. You will also follow Luo Yi's ult to a certain distance
Previously I would do full tank build for roamer support. Now you need to buy the green flask thing and the talisman, so now they're less tanky and die easier though

The thing abt mathilda, is that she is a litteral menace on both low and high elo ranks, since in low, team coordination is usually not that observed very much, so she can go and just build as an assasin and most teammates on low rank doesn't know how her 2nd works heck even on legend i see some people not using it when they are in dire situations, but with high elo, most know how her 2nd works, and she is best as a support (mostly) since her damage weakens in the late as an assasin, but that doesn't mean support build will not be able to take down lone squishies in late (unlikely) since teamfights are most often in high. + Assasin & Support is very hard to balance, having the mobility and dmg of an assasin while having the utilities of a support + she can get assists from just standing beside her team with 2nd skill, yeah she definitely belongs up there, just like other supports, nice to see her shine up again! But pretty sure it would not be for long since she was already nerfed on adv server...
Another trick of mathilda is that you can ult the tanky heroes at the front line and dive into the squishy mages and markmen, with the knock up and damage alone can kill those squishy heroes and run with second skill
Lance's second doesn't cancel mathilda's ult that easily but it can be actually very useful in 3 scenarios 1st when mathilda throw her soul marker on him he can dodge it with his second so her ult gets cancelled 2nd when mathilda charges at the end of the ult he can dodge that charge 3rd when mathilda uses her full stack first he can dodge it But all require incredible timing from lance
I would say most good Lancelot players would already have good timing and positioning (though many of them would have to get used to it as Mathilda's pick rate shoots up). That said, due to the nature of Mathilda just existing, Lancelot is going to have a hard time dodging everything because every gank on him is effectively going against an enemy team with unlimited Flickers. So even if he dodges one of Mathilda's hits, good luck dodging anything else that comes right after.
Yep, Genius Wand was tailored for Mathilda. It's makes the damage decay ratio of her first skill nonexistent because the Ult already reachs full GW stacks.
One important thing: lancelot can stop mathilda from flying, but only if he dodges the initial attack that causes her to fly when an enemy hero is hit if not, he can still dodge mathilda at the final part of her ult and/or the first skill wisp if timed correctly
i know that yin was your teammate, but my funniest (recent) mathilda moment against a yin was when he ulted me but couldn't kill me because of my ult, so in the end we just stared at each other on the opposite sides of his little ult box because he used all his skills on me (probably on cd) and i wasn't worth the kill anymore (I'm the roamer with STILL a full hp and two regen items)
If they tweak her 1st to be an instant cast instead of waiting for it while having the same cooldown and hit count and make it so that whenever her 2nd skill lands on an enemy it deals damage, Mathilda would be able to contend against the top mages in the game.
That's like making Faramis' Skill 2 deal max damage even on a lone target, and his Ult deals damage. Some skills are already balanced because they do 1 thing really well. No reason to make it overpowered. Imagine going against a Mathilda with your suggested changes. She basically becomes Chang'e with 2 dashes and all skills enhanced without using Skill 2.
I called my build as "Mathilda Airlines" with tthe items: magic shoes (dire hit), enhanced talisman, glowing wand and genius wand as my core items. The 2 free slots can be anything, magic damage or durability items
I use Mathilda as well, Lancelot could not cancel mathildas ult once casted but he could dodge it with his second skill and make mathildas ult go on cooldown.
I played Mathilda as a JG once as my team couldn't adjust and didn't had one... It was soo good and nutty honesty. I was honestly Suprised by how good it was... ❤ Kinda slow but it was still good

If Ling times his ult correctly he can survive Mathilda's ult without getting killed by others His ult very important to pick off enemies and escape afterwards But then Mathilda... While you want to time your ult on Ling you would be tanking damage/slowed coming from her ult... Cyclops and Mathilda considered an anti-assassins, they FORCE enemy Assassin heroes to use A SKILL that would be very important in contesting Lord and Turtles It almost doesn't matter how good a Ling/Fanny player it's just how NUTTY Mathilda is right now...

If you want to steal buff try around 35 sec to flameshoot, if enemy have help it would be around 30-33 sec or so.
