AC7 quite nicely does the introductions to the different roles/squadrons you participate in
Squadron Introductions:

I love the legend that is built up about Trigger, so much in knowing him, seeing him fall, becoming the best, even becoming unique:
He is Trigger, he is from Mage Squadron, Mage 2.
He is Trigger, but he is a penal unit, Spare 15.
He is Trigger, leader of Strider Squadron, Strider 1.
He is Trigger, the pilot of The Three Strikes.
All aircraft, follow Trigger.

You should have waited a little longer during 444. You get bonus dialogues if you stay on the runway.

Spare: fucking anything that isn’t top of the line
Strider:F-15 until after Mission 18 then F-22

@@ProjectTaker Can't shoot F-22s off Aircraft Carriers, that's physically impossible + I do believe it's cannon for Trigger to fly F-18s in Strider

But I feel like trigger was flying the F16 during his first mission in spare squadron (444) and he also flew in the F15 during the DLC campaigns
