I always appreciate MR Tarvers perspective and the intelligent manner in which he communicates his thoughts ,
Along with Teddy Atlas, Antonio Tarver, is one of my favourite pundits.
He is arguably one of the most intelligent and artistic pundits of the beautiful science. His insight is second to none. He always gives insights of both fighters no matter who or where they’re from. He provides a very clever analysis that come to fruition when the action starts…recently he correctly called Bud v Spence, Tank v Garcia and Garcia v Haney.
And like his famous quote to Roy Jones Jr. ‘Don’t start making excuses’

Usyk circles to find angles, not backing up.

I believe it will ultimately hinge on who has the better gas tank, and I'm leaning towards Usyk pulling off a narrow victory. If the fight doesn't go the distance, I see Usyk winning by stoppage, contrary to SugarHill's posturing that Fury will win by knockout.

@@JoshBlake-wu5xw Uysk took everything Joshua, Joyce and Dubois threw at him and didn't blink. All of those guys punch far harder than Fury ever will. His chin is legit. Fury's ain't - he's just got great powers of recovery. But those powers, like punch endurance, fade with age and Fury has taken a lot more punishment than Uysk.
Are people overlooking Usyk getting hurt by Dubois controversial or not? If Tyson focus on Usyk body like AJ tried to do in the 9th round second fight. Could be Usyk’s weakness.
Everyone’s mentioning it, but frankly it’s overrated. If speaks volumes to Usyk’s greatness that people are talking about something that’s happened maybe 3 times in several hundreds of fights as a major weakness. DuBois has more muscle and power than Fury, and it was an illegal blow. Half of your punch cannot be below the belt, and you see Usyk’s cub shake. AJ was actually able to hurt Usyk to the body once, but he’s a better combination puncher, and offensive talent than Fury. Contrary to popular belief, Fury is around the same height and reach as AJ, but if he tries to go to the body regularly, he will be reaching down and gives Usyk more opportunities to counter. The right to the body is a great weapon for southpaws.
Fury himself didnt like the body attacks Wilder gave him at the start of their 3rd fight.....big reason why Wilder almost had him in that fight, IMO. Usyk will know this.....
i think you are on to something here. Fury will target the body in a way AJ failed to do. Fury winning this one
Dubois landed a shovel hook below the belt - on the bladder. Fury is too tall to land that shot, but even if he wasn't he doesn't have the agility. He throws all his shots standing tall, which means he'll be punching down to Uysk's body and not up.
The shot you should really be looking at is the overhand right. They don't call it the Southpaw killer for nothing and you can bet your bottom dollar that team Fury have been drilling it to catch Uysk closing the distance. I think Uysk gets caught flush with it and dropped. But I also think he drops Fury. I think the man who wins is the man who has taken best care of his body and that is obviously Uysk.
Still can not comprehend how traver is not training more top level talent. Dude knowledge ability to breakdown and just spit boxing and get to the fundamentals is insane. I would be team tarver no questions

Because he beat both a lot easier and quicer than Fury did, I think Fury lost against Nganou to be honest.
@@GraveCareMaintenanceServices He fought Wallin years previously after coming off a very difficult period in his life. AJ fought a shadow of the fighter who Fury beat. And Joshua was a lot fitter and more conditioned than Tyson. So it's not a fair comparison. The Francis fight is a more relevant example, although the stats unequivocally prove a Tyson victory, more punches thrown and landed etc. plus he was clearly out of shape and didn't take the fight seriously. And that's his own fault. Plus he doesn't have the power of AJ to knock Francis out. Fury had to rely on his boxing skill under the circumstances to outpoint his opponent.
