I lived not too far from his house in Rotorua, and used to bike down there to see him. I own 7 Autographs of his, and I knew his son and a Lady (name is known to me) that lived with him. All were nice people, and so giving. But if you ever come to New Zealand, look around, and maybe you will see him in a Dairy in Rotorua.
I lived in Rotorua from 05-08 and often seen him at my gym pumping out the deadlifts. He drove an old early 90s silver Skyline. Always seemed like a nice guy often not hesitating to speak to fellow gym members.
8 years I know, but that's pretty cool. One of the coolest people involved with Star Wars and he's only a days drive away from me if I ever decide to venture to Rotorua
In honor of his two best-known movie roles, he should have bashed the host's head with the guitar like Jake the Muss and then flown away on a jetpack like Jango Fett.
tbh I expected him to sound a bit raspier in his singing voice. I've spent years trying to get a decent voice impression of him, and this defied everything I thought I knew lol. BTW I love how 90% of the comments here are Jango Fett/Clone trooper related XD

Temuera is an amazing actor and singer. Most people here in America only know him as Jango Fett. I'm a foreign film buff though and have been a fan of his New Zealand films for many years before Star Wars. Once were Warriors and What Becomes of the Broken Hearted are two of my favorite films. It's too bad he never really broke out here in the states. Very talented guy.
His rendition of this song is the best of the lot. Hell of an actor but I think he's wasted as an actor, singing is where he's at :D . Absolutely awesome tune!!!!
