    I would use a food safe silicon sealant. You can get it really cheap off of amazon for like 7 dollars and it would make it both heat resistant and food safe so you could pour in a hot cup of coffee. Plus it would still be squishy and the stuff is clear so you can still see him. Just make sure to do it in a ventilated area ( it smells horrible) and with a brush and pair of gloves you don't mind sacrificing. It is very stick and the only thing it would not stay attached to after it dried was a thick plastic but it will be sticky before it is finished and make sure to do a few layers. Make sure to cover it entirely and don't have any spots food could get trapped in. I would also recommend boiling it after it cures and before use to get rid of the smell that might cling to it and to test if you missed any spots, It should be able to withstand boiling water if it cured right but it should not touch the metal at the bottom of the pot as that is hotter than boiling water. (also there may be two comments like this because for what ever reason my original one is not there anymore somehow?!?)

      or get a silicon measuring cup to place inside rather than science the silicon onto the inner surface (though that would be fun if you can deal with the fumes). i have several of these measuring cups and they don't have handles so just get the volume and you'll be good to go!

  • @Imakitten4ever
    @Imakitten4ever Před 2 měsíci +3

    Here's my idea:
    • Crochet the mug with thigh stitches making no wholes or at least making the wholes more small for no water to tresspass
    • Find a waterproof spray that is non toxic and spray it evenly on the inside of the mug for the liquids not to trespass
    • Wait the time for the waterproof spray to work and try using it, still there is the possibility for water to leak and probably it will not be useful on hot drinks because that could affect the layer of waterproof spray, but at least it could maybe leak less water if you do it correctly

    You know how to make it hold your coffee, so cut the brown part and then make a cup as big as the cup, the cup should be made of clay or whatever, you take the clay cup and stick it inside the plus and then you have a cup :)
