Its really interesting to watch the running of a train from the point of view of the driver and with the coordination with conductor.
I feel sorry for the driver. You gotta be Tough on the railway man
When he said he hadnt got a flag , I would have asked who he was and asked if he was giving me authority to pass the signal, and then ''belt and braces'' used the SPT to make sure.
I would've asked who he was and if he was giving me authority to pass Mike Victor 31 signal too
haha remember this from my groundstaff training
easily solved with one question "Are you giving me authority to pass that signal at danger?"
I would've used the SPT to contact the signaller before even considering moving my train!
Bletchley to Bedford... All level Crossings.
He'll be getting out in 2038 but by the lkooks of him in the video, he'll be in his 80s.
Least you've learnt your lesson not to listen to what people are saying if there is a red light always trust your gut Instinct
Kevin's "never been in trouble", but he went from being a signalman to a conductor? So people checking tickets and closing doors are on more money than signallers?
@@tubester4567 got sick of seeing train on a screen just thought ya I should love to do that
Some signal boxes have been closed and he night have had to move jobs?
I would have called a signaler before moving if it was my train
The driver's 38 years old? 😂 OK...
BEEN A SIGNALMAN AND CONDUCTER DIDN,T SAY HE WORKS FOR MERSEYRAIL
I noticed the red imidiatelly when I watched the vid first time
The driver knew there was a red. He thought the Network Rail was giving him authority to pass the signal at danger.
Who is here from video: A perfect misunderstandinnibn or A perfect understanding
The flags have nothing to do with it….there wouldn’t be an EO for the barriers AND a separate hand signaller. The EO turns up, rings the signaller from the barriers, he’s told when to locally lower them and when to display a hand signal. Simple.
Pway gang was it (when he was talking about the man crossing the tracks)
3:37 fav part
@@coastliner7009 you thought deleting your comment would make me forget about your dumb mistake
Wow
makes you think..........................
Silverlink Class 150
And how many spads did recording pieces to camera while driving a train cause? 🤔
Well AWS/TPWS should have prevented that. The SPAD demonstrated in the video was only possible due to the activation of the TPWS Train Stop Override, which allows a driver to SPAD. Obviously this should only be used with permission to do so, but in the SPAD the driver assumed they had permission
how can you be on the railway since 16? The fuck
I know that Gourd his form that maersyrail training video
So what actually happened???
the driver of 2S15 went past signal Mike Victor 31 at danger after encouragement from the guard that the barrier operator wanted them to leave the station when the barrier operator didn't even look at the aspect of signal Mike Victor 31 so the driver of 2S15 turned off the DRA to move past the signal having an uneasy feeling once he passed the signal and once the driver of 2S15 noticed that signal Mike Victor 33 was set to danger he knew he screwed up and contacted the area's signaller.
@@eeeby_deebythe DRA is a reminder to the driver. 3:43 when he pushed the Train Stop Override is what allowed the SPAD to occur, making the onboard TPWS equipment ignore the trackside TPWS saying to stop after a SPAD
I feel like I am watching the railways equivalent of the bill 😆
