Ironically, bodybuilders are actually weaker because they keep themselves at an extreme water and caloric deficit to maintain their muscle definition. Whereas strongmen and weightlifters keep a moderate layer of fat on them to make sure their muslces have enough of a caloric surplus to produce maximum stength. Please look up the differences between (i'm not trying to be condescending, I just really am passionate about the sports). e.g. Eddie Hall (strongman), Dean Bowring (powerlifter), Chris Bumstrad (body builder)
