MH delivering the goods. A pleasant way to start the day! ☀️
Wonderful!
Thanks!
Mike Herman, your phrasing is so inspiring! Sometimes i watch your pedal videos even if i have no interest in buying that pedal just to hear how you phrase the instrumental cover of the day ;] Keep up the good work love what you do!
Me too
Me three!
So kind! Thanks so much for checking it out!
Me 4 ❤
What a nice surprise! my favorite song from my favorite band, played by a guitarist I admire a lot! Thanks from Argentina!

Very cool! Great sound.
Thanks!
sublime ❤
Much appreciated!
Actually it's by The Police
@@capnbrappn I used lowercase which indicates adjective, describing his interpretation, not used as proper noun to announce the obvious which, thankfully you’ve properly capitalized ;)
Call the police for this sublime cover of The Police. I want to make sure they get the message, bottled or otherwise.
I love this, Mike!
Beautiful cover! Tasteful playing, awesome tone.
Thank you!!!
Awesome, great tone and love the band’s interpretation.
Thanks!
Lazy, eazy and soo good: feels like steppin into incence-vapored space........Bravissimo!
Thank you!!!
As always, your interpretations of classic tunes are fantastic Mike. Amazing tone through the Sky King! Thanks for posting this!
Thanks man! The Sky King is awesome! One of my favorites. Thanks for watching
@@popintothechemist My pleasure Mike! Is there anywhere online where you post your gig schedule?
@@TheDarinAmes here’s our website-has our upcoming shows

Sick! You guys sound as good as ever. I need to get up to MA to see you play live. Been watching online for over a decade. 😆 I dig the bassist’s John Paul Jones bass.
Thanks so much. The bass player is playing an Alembic Stanley Clarke. Pretty amazing instrument
You're a phenomenal guitarist, and this arrangement is awesome. I love the double time into straight thing going on, but dude... that drummer is on fire!
Very smooth.
Your Vibe is on my board- just not this song. I’m going yo post us playing a Floyd thing with the Weaver on it. One of my favorite pedals!
@@popintothechemist I do appreciate the accolades, but I'm not who you think I am. I highly enjoy your videos.
The only cover band where the covers are more original than the originals!
Hahaha! Can I use that quote? Awesome!
@@popintothechemist I'd be delighted if you did!
Love the space with drums pushing things along.
would LOVE to see your pedal board ... PLEASE
Probably all Behringer/Nux/Mooer. 😉
we need an updated Mike pedalboard video! with all the gear you test out I'd love to know what actually makes it to your live rig
So great! (But I still think you should release the tracked demos you do for the pedals vids)
Great take on a classic. The band is tight. The effects you're using are they staples of your pedalboard or just used for the song? I'm actually thinking about getting the Halo and the Gladio SC. Take care, Mike.
Thanks. I use all those effects throughout the set… the Halo is on a lot. The Cloudburst I turn on for spacier stuff like this. Gladio is killer!
@@popintothechemist Thanks for the reply. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Swell
Fantastic!
What are the effects you use on the guitar pedalboard? any picture of it?

I, too, am a white boy Wes Montgomery wanna be. It's not so much the licks or the format of a jazzed up cover of a pop tune but the intervals which you let hang at the end of certain sparse phrases that create that Montgomery vibe and gives away your fanboy status plainly. I dig that, and it's inspiring to actually be able to detect another's influences like that because they are right there being worn on the sleeve. Sometimes you remind me of Scofield, not this time. You weren't really playing ''out'' here, more nuanced with quirky short deflections at the end of specific statements. That California Dreaming album from 1966 is now echoing in my head. Thanks for that and introduce your bassist and drummer to that album if you get a chance. I'm sure they'd dig it.
First off, the music is top notch, as always.
….but who’s dying to know what’s actually on Mikes board??
Huh....did you ever demo the Gamechanger??😁
Jokes aside, wonderful tones and arrangement!
But can you play "Bottle in a Message"?!
Too much pedals, Mike...
