Although I’ve never really met these guys I am so proud of what they have accomplished. Being able to be a part of the private FB group and watching them develop their idea has been amazing. And hey, at 1:37 that lid was my idea (well somewhat 😁). Looking forward to seeing where this all ends ups. Good luck at NAMM guys!

This seems so cool I really want to see this become a reality. Is there any news? Is there anything I can do to help?

I'm not exactly the target audience, but I'd be very interested in this as a viable portable record player to bring to record fairs, flea markets or even the odd picnic in the park. Especially if the tonearm is somewhat adjustable to something more viable for non-turntablist use. An uber-modded PT01 is great for portablism, but not that great at anything else. If the 7PS could do both, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, especially if it were in a price bracket that's not too far off a modded PT01.

That isn't Brace? I wasn't there, and asked for the clarification on the names. I'll look at fixing it.

Belt driven though? Is that a good idea for scratching I mean long term

The torque on Handy Trax and PT01s is ideal for decks like this. Adding a motor would make it bigger, heavier, kill battery power, and make it significantly more expensive.

Yes, via the rotary encoder. Turn left/right for +/-, press and turn for faster 5% steps, and press/release to reset to zero.
