These diesels caused many steam locomotives to be cut up for scrap in the 1960s. Now, most of the diesels we see here have been cut for scrap themselves.
That's the great thing about railways. There's always plenty of change and old locos for the scrap man to get stuck into with his torches!

The depot is Finsbury Park
I thought it could be Stratford as they had an identical depot however inside the depot is a Birmingham Sulzer later know as a class 25.
Also firmly identifying it as Finsbury Park is the fact that outside the depot is a baby Deltics and all were allocated to Finsbury Park

Pretty straight forward for a four road diesel depot, SF, Tinsley same lay out, regular BR practise.
