Love this song so much. I can imagine my cousin Tommy totally rockin' out to this. The dude with red hair is just how we remember Tom , punk, full of life, the heart and soul of the party. He did a lot of crazy shit, but in the end he was a big hearted, brave dude.

Bands evolve over time. It would be boring if bands sounded exactly the same with no originality.

Doesn't mean I won't love the album, to be fair my big gripe more than anything was the lyrics in the song they seemed all over the place. @Trent People don't always make the same music and want to evolve their sound. I fucking love pop punk but tbh sometimes it's the same shit and it's nice to see something different. It would be boring and suck if they always stayed the same in my opinion and not all bands who go poppy are shit like FOB and anyways they might have more pop punk songs on the album but it's fine if they want to experiment

@@un_ikko8953 Almost every band that starts off with an aggressive, rough around the edges sound will end up becoming more polished with time. I'd say their trajectory is pretty much exactly what you should expect, so I'm not gonna get all shocked pikachu about it. But what I don't expect is for the lyricism to become less mature while the overall sound becomes polished. Early Neck Deep isn't really that lyrically innovative or anything, but the songs are good especially for the genre. TPATP brought a more highly produced sound as well as some significantly more matured lyrics. Then the new stuff continues with the high production value, but now he's calling people normies.
