Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise.
Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.
GAME FEATURES:
● The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features an all-new single-player campaign written by Dooma Wendschuh and Corey May, with Geoff Johns consulting. Players become an early-career Batman as he encounters for the first time many of the super villains that shape his future.
● Enhanced Detective Mode: Batman's detective skills are tested as never before with an all-new Crime Scene system that allows players to scrub through the evidence in order to find key pieces of information. Players use Batman's cowl and Bat Computer to digitally recreate crime scenes, allowing them track clues that normal eyes would miss.
● Gotham City as Never Seen Before: Explore areas of Gotham City before its transformation into Arkham City, and experience all new areas and other iconic locations. The dynamic and rich environments are filled with a variety of enemies, "crimes-in-progress" and other content that will encourage exploration and player engagement.
● Most Wanted Side Missions: Hunt down villains who are connected to, but not part of the core story. It's the player's choice if and when they want to complete these threads.
● New Enemies: Encounter new enemies such as the Armored Enforcer and Martial Artist who challenge fans to approach FreeFlow Combat in different ways.
● New Gadget: Utilize an arsenal of familiar gadgets from previous Batman: Arkham games, as well as new items such as the Remote Claw. Batman can take down enemies by using the Remote Claw to attach enemies to one another or to objects within the environment for quick takedowns.
● New and Familiar Characters: Encounter a full cast of iconic DC Comics characters including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Anarky, Captain Gordon, The Joker and others.

Watched this panel on live stream, it was awesome when i watched it then and is still awesome as i watch it now.
There's going to be a new mode for Arkham Origins called "I Am The Night" mode. It is saying that if you die once, you will go back to the beginning.
I think BatmanArkhamVideos won't have a problem with that.

I sat in the front row for this, it was incredible.
Well, you're forgetting about Joker, Penguin and Bane there, but I can see your point, then again, we haven't really fought Killer Croc yet, we've evaded him at one point, and had a little conversation with him in City, but never a straight-up fight.
Didn't consider him being a side mission, that's a pretty good idea actually.
Yea, Kevin Conroy even said he was working on the next Arkham Game. When asked if he was talking about Origins he said he was working with Rocksteady on it. So it'll be a direct sequel to Arkham City
I can't believe people are complaining that it isn't from RockSteady. If you never saw there wasn't a logo you wouldn't know the difference between this and the other games.
In only one day from now, it will only be three more days until Arkham Origins will be out in two days!

I think that the GCPD building in Arkham City was not the main building, like the one in Arkham Origins. I think the one in City was more of a forensics building than an HQ.
But I may be wrong, as I have little idea as to how police buildings work.

The different suits are specific to the mobile game. Probably a selling point to differentiate it from the original console game.
No that's for Arkham Origins Blackgate. For the console game some assassins you don't fight in the main story but the only one they've announce like that so far is Deadshot.
Both Troy and Roger sound so nice and kind!
The final 2 assassins are secrets like AC with Ras al Ghul and Clayface
you all forget the time when Batgirl was actually retired years before the day Joker went up to the Gordon's home and shot her in the spine through her stomach causing her to become just paraplegic that doesnt add the recuperating hospitalization and medical and clinical trials of therapy that not including the final determination to decide that "hey im in a wheelchair but i still got my high marks of intelligence, i think i will continue fighting crimes. and call myself Oracle. " then add more.

Next game should be an open world Batman game with multiple playable characters characters like in GTA5. Then launch DLC packs based on popular story arcs like Under the Red Hood, Night of the Owls, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, etc. Let the player be able to build his own timeline in the game based on the decisions the player makes.
So there's Deathstroke, Deadshot, Bane, Shiva, Copperhead, Firefly, Electrocutioner and who is No.8? Some are saying Killer Croc after the soundtrack release, but I'm not convinced.
It has the similar thing with the New 52 Batman. Though it's possible. Wayne adopted Dick Grayson when he's a teenage (lest say 16) and been Robin for 2 years. Jason Todd could be a Robin in this Arkham Universe for a year. Then up till now, we've got Tim Drake as the Robin in this universe.

Well, there's a track titled "Killer Croc" on the official soundtrack, so it's a pretty huge possibility.
That's what I heard the developers say, maybe I'm wrong, we're just going to have to wait until the game comes out.

You'll most likely not see her in this game. From what I can remember from the Batman mythos, Harley Quinn joins Joker when she meets him for the first time in the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. So it takes place between Origins and Asylum.
To answer the multiple fights. In 5 years that's 1,825 days. Sooooooo yeah.
Also, in the comics, Alfred's dad is called Jarvis.
The suits change your stats in the mobile game, but change nothing in the console game except for Batman's looks.

In retrospect, it was pretty open to interpretation any way you wanted. Not unrealistic that you would think I misinterpreted or posted something useless.
I would've asked if Nightwing was going to be a special DLC, because I loved what Rocksteady did with the character. Granted this is WB, but still, I would love to see that. Maybe even as an add-on in multiplayer? Anyway maybe Rocksteady will include him more in the coming sequel:P
But doesn't that cause a plot hole or something? Doesn't that mean Wayne adopted Grayson as a teenager, because Nightwing is an adult in Arkham City and Batman already has Tim Drake as Robin? Does that mean there was never a Jason Todd? So many questions.

arkham asylum is not 5 years after origins. it simply does not makes sense

As much as I want to agree with you, and as painful as this is for me to accept it, this is indeed five years. One thing that they may not have intentionally done is realized they set up the new GCPD building in New Gotham. In Arkham City, you can over hear a conversation from some thugs that they abandoned the station [in City] five years ago. However, if they don't specifically make any statements or such that MAKES it five years before Asylum, then I'll just say the thugs are bad with math.
The actual console version of the game will be awesome
