I’m not a big fan of the Metallics, but I did pick up a Flare 2 in Sketch Floral Blush.

I'm not a huge fan of the metallics either so I'm still not sure what came over me when I got the Silver. I think the price was just so good and I love the Sketch Floral print. I'm sure if they had any left in that print, I would have gotten that one instead. Glad you were able to grab one in that print! It's so pretty!!

How hilarious that the concierges even noticed your Lug behaviours 😂😂 I used to worry about my neighbors seeing those colourful Lug boxes streaming in, so I’d rush out to grab them. Then I’d feel embarrassed by how much of those colourful cardboards in my recycling box 😂😂
Yeah, the concierges in my building are pretty smart and observant and seem to know everything about everyone. There's one who even sees me with different bags all the time and asks if they're one of the new Lugs I got in my most recent orders 🤦♀. It is a bit embarrassing but, I'm a Lugnut - what did I expect?! 🤣 And you're right, the Lug boxes aren't exactly inconspicuous so that doesn't help me quietly make Lug orders without anyone noticing. My orders stand out like a sore thumb next to all the other drab and nondescript boxes in the parcel room.

May! There’s a new 2023 Fall Mystery box! Would you please do a video on what you think might be in them? You’re always right! I’m kind of torn because the themes are “Under the Stars” and “Glamping”. I’m not an outdoors woman and I’ve never been camping in my life. I need a motel room! So I’m trying to imagine what might be in the boxes. Backpacks? Huggies? Totes? An insulated something for food?
My all time favorite box was Fall 2022. It included the the Alto, the Super Coupe, the Nibble, the Lift card holder and a Butterfly charm. The Tartan Plaid at Christmas was nice, too, with the Snowflake charm. But, honestly, that’s all I use out of that box. So, I’m concerned I’ll pay for things that I’ll never use. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ❤️🙏
If you are not a huge fan of the look of the boxes then it's possible you won't love the colours or prints you will find in the boxes. Now, the boxes have been wrong in the past but generally, what you see on the outside is usually what you will find on the inside. Usually it's only 1 item that will be in that print or colour so you're not stuck with an entire set of stuff in that print but the theme is usually pretty consistent. That being said, I don't think you're going to find actual camping gear in the box so, if you're not a camper, you don't have to worry. It's not like there will be tents, hammocks and fire starters in the box 🤣🤣🤣 I have a feeling we're going to see a Cuddle Throw (because both box descriptions mentions a cosy blanket), maybe an insulated mug (one box talks about enjoying coffee) or maybe a tree scented travel candle (both boxes talk about evergreen trees). One commenter guessed that there may be a backpack or a Hitch and I think those are good guesses. Lug is not really a line for the outdoorsy so I'm sure you will find uses for everything in the boxes, even if you never go camping.
Even though I love spending time in the outdoors and in the wilderness (and actually like the Camp Green print for that reason), I agree with you on the camping thing! I can hike all day but I must come back to plumbing and electricity!! I don't understand camping at all. In Canada, camping is a huge thing and almost everyone does it. I tried it once and hated every second of it - and I had access to a flushing toilet! Yep, a motel is a minimum for me! I think even if Lug did make camping gear, I wouldn't camp just to be able to use my camping Lugs 🤣
At the end of the day, if you essentially have all the Lugs you really need to accomplish all your storage and baggage needs with the Lugs you already have, even though the boxes are fun to open, you will find that less and less of the contents are things you could actually use - mainly because you probably already have something similar or something that will do the same job. Which means that you will be less and less excited by the contents of the boxes. Now, if you just love getting new things and being surprised, the boxes are great. But, if you end up not really needing or liking the contents, you are stuck with what to do with the things you don't want. You could gift or sell the contents but that can be a pain in the butt too. My advice is that if the colours and theme of the boxes don't excite you, don't get them. Save yourself the disappointment and money. If for some reason you discover that you actually do love the contents, I'm sure you can buy anything you want off of someone who got the boxes and didn't like the contents. Also, it seems that so many of the items in the boxes end up on Lug Live eventually. If you keep your eyes opened, you may find limited quantities available on LugLive in the future and often for really good prices! Hope that helps!
