She was embarrassed and stuck standing up against a wall and reluctantly ended up having to tell my son what had happened. He tied his shirt around her waist so they could leave, and he ran into the shop on the way home to get some tampons. He also got her some chocolate while he was there, because you know, hormones. They are married now đ„°

Just a little known fact; you crave sugar, carbs, and chocolate bc you are low on potassium and magnesium- especiallywhen you'reon your period. Iron is also a factor. Sugar and carbs like this junk food she got; although totally sweet and thoughtful- will actually deplete your potassium and magnesium. If you supplement with potassium and magnesium or just eat plenty of potassium and magnesium-rich foods and leafy greens, you won't even CRAVE the sweets anymore, you won't gain the extra weight, and you won't feel tired and crappy. Oh, and bananas won't cut it- you would have to eat 12 bananas to get your daily requirement of potassium.

Honestly I know guys think this is just something girls should be used to bc we go through it monthly but honestly some months are just so much worse than others. I don't tell my guy when I start my cycle, he sees the tampon wrappers, but there are so many months I get horrible migraines when I am fixing to start or have just started. The best thing he can do for me is bring me coffee in the morning and do the dishes and cleaning I normally do every day. It takes so much stress off me and I don't have to stand there washing dishes with cramps and migraine (no we don't have a dishwasher).
You should tell him. Men do not communicate through signals. BE DIRECT & respectfull ofcourse. And he will listen.

I just did something like this for my daughter. She was having a very heavy one so I made her a get comfy basket. I of corse got her some Tâs and got a comfy hoodie, sweatpants,comfy socks, a candle, all kinds of chocolates, 3 cans of her fav coffee drinks, plush pillow that looks like her pug Hank, Takiâs, and bath bombs. She loved it and it made her day. Poor kid she really has it rough in this department.
