The haunting was epic. Loved playing it in night mode. AI is going to make games so much better. Dynamic environments like weather and night and day i think will be more common. So more randomness. One missing element in DMZ is randomness of the environment. Randomness of the player interaction is fantastic, but the map and programming remains very similar from game to game

it was so easy for the eyes, people going for pvp? they have the perfect cover, people doing missions? same, most people would just blend with the night and mind their own business.

I used to play a wide variety of games, but over the last several years I’ve been too busy to sit down and play anything. Then I got DMZ when it was fairly new. I actually enjoyed every aspect of it, so I started playing in my free time (which is rare as a single father 100% of the time).
I also went through cancer/radiation treatments and ended up with a lot more free time.
I have tried several other games, but no other game has what DMZ does. Even after completing everything that you can in DMZ, every game is still different and challenging in a different or similar way, but no two are the same (unless you get spawn murked every game).
I try to play MW3 every once in a while, but it’s 💩 compared to DMZ.

But yeah I also used to play many kinds of (mainly fps) games but after waiting for DMZ to drop for almost a year and it finally getting published I just cant seem to find even close the amount of enjoyment from other games anymore. DMZ just hits different and its cool cause it offers something for ANY type of players. Sometimes I just want to chill and kill bots and forget everything else as I get totally immersed lol. Other times I go in as a solo and just ask if anyone needs help with any missions or anything and then i team up with new ppl and its almost always a fun experience. They should be SO ASHAMED for basically killing the game mode. I dont think they actually understood how much ppl enjoy dmz, and how many of those people are those who never before even liked cod..

it used to be very fun for me. doing the missions. but ever since they turned dmz into just a battle royal game. it took all the fun out of it. from the moment you start there is someone pushing you. dmz for me was a more relaxed type of mode. now its just as sweaty as mw3. all these videos of these streamers have inspired everyone to go for high kill games. so for ME! ITS RUINED glad you guys have fun tho

Man I ran dmz so hard for so long. I had taken a break from video games for 4 or 5 years and I just so happened to come back when DMZ was dropping. I was always a huge Campaign fan, and DMZ kinda brought that to life for me. My first 6 months playing , I was the guy who avoided all the smoke, completed missions and what not. I’d battle it out here and there, but mostly I hated losing all my stuff 😂. And then it all changed when I linked up with a cat that revived me one night. And he welcomed all the smoke. It just changed my perception on the game, and my style. And I spent the next 6months just team wiping. And man I love the thrill of that. I’ve been playing zombies now pretty hard, and I haven’t played dmz in 2 months probably. But it will always have a spot in my heart. I ran a taq56 and a Lachman sub, shew was that a dirty combo

RE: High Explosive..... It's for the one shot down, but it's extremely difficult to land shots considering the amount you need to lead targets.

i caught the dmz bug pretty heavily about a month before MWIII launched and it was the most fun I had playing MWII. It’s a shame it’s never leaving beta.
I just want to be able to complete that serpatine camo run with my homie before he gets into the married with home life full time . but the issue i run across is that some of these mission seem impossible now. The deaddrop to usb for flight logs with the ch7 and ATC tower being premacamped. I just miraculously just didi the client is king with the last part nearly dying to ga in the caves

Hell yes, brother! GGs! Btw. Those misses are hits. The sniper rifle is good! You are getting, what I call, mercy shots, due to the player being a lower level/skill. I'm not sure if it's build in (properly) or just a glitch, but I kinda like it. Also, a Med Vest is always better than a regular, even if it's only a 2 plate imo. DMZ for life!

Doesn't matter if you're an ultra-super-mega Chad with advanced cheats and the actual child of Thor you still can't finesse a team like ON1C.
I just started playing this 2 days ago (haven't played CoD since MW (used to play back in CoD2, CoD4, MW2, BLOPs1 era) and I'm having an absolute blast with it. It's really enjoyable, and at first I really didn't like other players because they're just like old DayZ... Everyone I've come across has killed me immediately and since learning that I now kill everyone I see on sight, which is a shame and DMZ is clearly missing a layer it has and should have, but it's still fun taking out an entire squad of 4 on your own. I just wish they hadn't given up on it because in its current state, it has INCREDIBLE potential to be the next big shooter.
Though, I'm still new to DMZ and modern CoD. These are some things I'd love to see changed but sadly won't because it's discontinued, let me know what you think (anyone reading this lol)
1. Make money mean something. I think attachments should be unlocked by buying them. You just unlocked the M16 because you extracted with one? (I love this mechanic btw) you want a silencer and a red dot on that bad boy? Cough up 150k. Something like that anyway. It would make the cash mean something other than just being able to speed up your insured cool down and buy stuff when you're in the DMZ.
2. Implement a reason NOT to just immediately kill people on sight. A karma system of some kind, you're rewarded for helping another team with a contract or something by getting a reward/discount on some gear I dunno lol, but there should be a reason to not kill other players, the reason to kill them is the loot you could obtain, but there should be equal reason to not kill them. So it becomes a player choice not: "well, they're going to kill me and if I kill them I at least get stuff, so I might as well kill them because I have absolutely no incentive not to."
3. I'm not too sure right now lol it's still early days with DMZ, but I'm really enjoying it and I hope to continue enjoying it :)

Medic vest is OP because it gives you the Quick Fix (health regen starts when you kill a player (OR A BOT!!!)) Self revives are also quicker, giving you enough time to outrun a Precision Airstrike!!!
