If the writers had chosen to write in a solo for Amy this season, or multiple other dances, I'm certain she would have blown you away with her flexibility and natural ability ;)

It's hard though, because a lot of the cast were busy doing other projects during filming. Emmerly Tinglin and Briar Nolet were doing other dance work and Alexandra Beaton was filming a movie.
When you were talking about Lily I totally agree. I feel like a similar thing happened with Amanda... it's like when Amanda came back and she lost her sass, her fire, and became sort of dull imo, compared to seasons 1 and 2.

Yeah its like when they turn "good" there dancing becomes worse whats up with that
I feel like people who say this really don't understand her character development,so try this. Think of it from Amanda's pointo of view. You had been at a studio for years,where you have to be mean,and not shown any form of love. Than you finally get away from that,only to have your life become worse. That was what happened to Amanda,under her mean skin,she was really broken, and if you look at Noah's scenes with her,you can see that he breaks through her walls,much like Richelle. I think that they should have done a storyline for her walls being broken,instead of just instantly though. Sorry,but why she became kind of depressed was pretty obvious. Just watch her scones,you don't have to go looking into it.

I'm so glad you put Piper in the top 3. A lot of the fans bash her for not being overly flexible (in terms of contorsion) and she doesn't do a whole lot of acro, but her technique definitely compensates for it. People who do have any dance experience do not understand that her ballet technique is so amazing. Her turns are also very good. Thanks for the amazing video!

Yes!!! thanks Iâve had enough of people who doesnât have a lot of experience with dance (not hating on them) bashing on people in the show who specialise in different styles saying stuff like â there not good because they canât do this styleâ âŠâšTHEY ARE ALL GOODâš
People that donât have dance experience genuinely think doing stuff like bending your back over int a hand stand isnât easy because there never gonna have an episode of the dancers just rehearsing bc that wont make a good show but they only show the final product not all the work all these amazing cast members had to go through to get their ability today. So people think piper is just bad because of her acro skills but actually everyone else has just had so much more work on acro and are crazy good.

Summer Stans are just as bad tbh. If you say ANYTHING about summer, they have an excuse to defend her behaviour. Because she was just the ânice girlâ, she can do anything and people defend it. Or they are like âyeah the writers doing that made no sense, OUR summer would NEVER do anything bad everâ. Neither Richelle or Summer stans take critique well, theyâre so defensive. Thatâs why the best stans are Henry Stans, the true hero of TNS âš

Absolutely. I haven't encountered any Summer stans yet that are on the Richelle stan level (thankfully đ) I think regardless of who you're a fan of, you have to acknowledge when they aren't perfect! I do get where some Summer fans are coming from with the writing thing though because I was like that for a while, but ultimately that IS Summer if she's been written like that, as she's fictional đ It's a tough pill to swallow!
i donât like how summer was at the end of season 7 and how she rubbed it in richelleâs face (i know it was unintentional but you would think that somebody would be a lil bit sad at least if they lost a role that meant a lot to them) but the reason why i protect summer so often is because richelle did the EXACT SAME THING as summer (except a lil worst, the day before dancemania & she didnât find a replacement at least) but getâs no criticism whatsoever for it.

Tbh I LOOOOOOOVE Briar! I really want to love Richelle but I just can't. The writers are making her go backwards and it's so frustrating lmao.
IKKK! like shes litterally been on the show since season 2 and they STILL CANNOT make up there mind about who they want her to be. Like she has no character development and when she does it ends up getting smashed into the ground....so frustrating
Richelle is an amazing dancer but she relies on her tricks too much to get solo opportunities or to be in dances. shes more intensty than heart. Like piper doesn't do any acro, yet she still shows emotion and amazing moves. she uses her moves to its fullest ability. But in wod briar is amazing and so good.
richelle is a phenomenal dancer objectively. however, the tricks do seem superfluous at time. rather than feeling like a piece, it feels like some tricks sewn together. her movements are sharp and precise, so sometimes it looks too fast. itâs not a criticism of her dancing ability, but sometimes it hinders the musicality of the dance. richelle always brings new tricks ( like her b-twist) and the power moves and itâs nice, but she needs to add substance by using her face more
Yeah, that's what I have been thinking since season 4. Even though Richelle has amazing tricks that make me go :O, it just takes away the dance part of it. The tricks are sometimes mainly the reason why I barely saw emotion from her in the Empire solo.
I was angry for a second when I saw what place Amy was in because I love Amy and her acro, then I realised she didnât do any acro at all this season
I personally think Alexandra Chaves is one of the best actresses/actors on the next step, if not the best

Heath is an example of when one puts too much energy into dancing - his charisma made him one to watch this season!
im honestly not a richelle stan đ but i rly think she deserves first place because she hits all her moves with an unexplainable power and for me i think her (one) facial expression is quite fierce. I also think summer has a lack of versatility (unlike richelle) and can only do mostly contemporary and lyrical (and maybe jazz) whereas richelle can do all of that plus hip hop and acro. I also have a feeling that richelle could master any move you throw at her but summer may have trouble with the more acro and hip hop moves. Just my opinion so donât @ me! â€ïž
Kenzie is an amazing dancer but we just need more from her đđđŸ
i LOVED piperâs dancing this season. they should showcase her hip hop side a bit more because sheâs great in it. during dance mania she should have acted professionally because if Finn was willing to be professional, she should have made more of an effort. her kicks and leaps were impressive those season
iâm not necessarily a richelle stan, but i am a briar stan. for some reason, when she dances as richelle, i donât like it as much? anyone else feel like that?
i think that's because Briar has more movement and emotion and when she dances you could see beauty. When Richelle dances sometimes, i think work and pressure. Not trying to be rude tho. :)
yessss lets go Richelle is first omg i actually just love her dancing bc her solo are just absolutely beautiful and the fact that briar actually choreographed some of her solo's is so cool

I am a Richelle Stan but they also scare me too Alishea because I was agreeing with someone (a Richelle Stan) one time and they kept trying to one up me about Richelle, their arguments back were things like "But Richelle has been there for soo long! She deserves it not Summer!" And I'm like yeah that's what I was saying why you trying to one up me bro? Then with another person I said I miss season 6 Summer and they started to rant me about how Richelle is better than Summer. These Richelle Stan's are scary. I'm a pretty considerate Richelle Stan so it's good with me

Yeah like season six she breaks through her emotional barriers at the end and then season 7 she is back to like season 4 Richelle for no reason. Also just give her dance captain. Lol.

the richelle stans scare me too (some of them that is, some are really fair but some, AHEM, is another situation) i was trying to make a point that richelle was in the wrong during the whole âima bail the team the day before dancemaniaâ scenario and i got absolutely âšb a s h e dâš
also, i completely agree with wanting to see piper do more hip hop, bro she demolished the ânow you got the bestâ dance in s6, she literally KILLED it- I got so frickân annoyed when she didnât get the hip hop routine- ALEXâS ENERGY IS OUT OF THIS WORLD
and iâm not sure who i would chose between summer & richelle, because richelle is really versatile and definitely brings something new to the table everytime she dances but summer as alice was đ her facials, everything was stunning and she really puts on a show!

Eyyy, I ain't that crazy Nick. I was betrayed by A-Troupe in the finale as they just had character development 3 minutes ago but all of a sudden, they turn against B-Troupe. Nick and B-Troupe were mostly unproblematic through the season, that's why I stan.
I think that Piper might have impressed me more than Summer did this season just because her dancing is so flued and beautiful and she had more chances to show her full potential

I feel as though TNS really did A-troupe so dirty this season, personality and dance wise. It felt really out of character and basic in terms of dancing. Hope season 8 is stronger!!

honestly seeing how well she did on wod just made me sad for her tns dances. especially the dancemania solo. like everyone knows briar can do so much more but for some reason they decided against it for richelle. i agree with alishea's rank for that, although honestly i would have put summer 3 richelle 2 and piper 1. piper really blew me away this season

I personally prefer Henry but I jusr don't think he was showcased well enough. Kingston was great in all the dances he was in, whereas I think Henry lacked in certain ones đą
Great video and judgement as usual Alisha! (Srry if I spelt you're name wrong) And i would have to say that if this was real life, Briar would win. But in my opinion in the show, I love Summer's style better because you could really see her emotions while she adds in a few tricks with it. That's just my opinion tho. :)

I am a Richelle Stan but I do agree with most things that you said and this was really entertaining so thank you for a great video
in my opinion, summer is the better performer because she is so charismatic, but richelle just can do every move that summer can do, yet summer can't do everything that richelle can do... and i have to say, i like richelle's intensity when she dances, whereas summer sometimes bores me

also this season had a disproportionate amount of contemporary routines for the amount of dancers on the team. all of the male dancers identified as either hip hop or jazz dancers yet the group dances were predominantly contemporary which couldnât showcase their abilities

season 7 did a troupe so dirty it's so sad bc the whole thing that made the next step special in the beginning was the incorporation of everyone's strengths but now it feels like they've all been brought down to appear at the same level in one style instead does that make sense lmao

I agree, this video made me realize how much amy's potential wasn't used. She prooved that she could be a lead dancer last season and she was on top of her game but this season she didn't show anything impressive.

They all have something special, but they can't show what they can actually do in tns because tns keeps focusing on unimportant things than rehearsals/and dancing in general which is unfair đ
ik it might be a bit controversial but can you make a video where you rate the Actors of TNS 1- 6 by their dance skills and personality? possibly in parts bc there is a lot of actors. or a Who Should Have Won Season 1- 5
Finally Pipier gets some justice... she's been my favourite character and one of my favourite dancers since season 4!

Ozzy has made a lot of progress in season 7 - his turns and his energy stood out for me. However, as you pointed out, he does look down, which make him look less confident and less open to the viewer which hinders him a bit. Overall, his amelioration was refreshing to see
richelle was 100% the best at dancemania but the fact she is top dancer overall makes me happy as she is my favourite ever and she is definitely massively under rated on the show! xoxo

For me the worst thing Richelle stand have done is trying to force on the 'fact' that Noah left Richelle. It's just some fanfiction, and again in the show it was RICHELLE'S fault that they weren't that close anymore.
