Sherrie Lynn Hoyt Dobyns

Sherrie Lynn Hoyt Dobyns 09/28/1951 to 02/18/2024. She was the most beautiful human to grace this earth. A wild spirit, cowgirl Gypsy, not many people could carry that many titles but she could. She also was the best mother I could have gotten lucky enough to have. Never a day went by that you would wonder how much she loved you. If she wasn’t saying it she was showing it with her actions. She loved us kids, our kids and all the Madden kids with her whole being. She loved being apart of such a big family. And she made every get together better with her great stories and an unforgettable laugh that brought joy to everyone around. The minute she came into a room it just became brighter. If we could all just strive to be more like her this world would be a better place. If you handed her a rock she would be so excited and thankful as if it was a diamond, she appreciated the small things. She loved her home, it was a sanctuary of wildlife. The warmest homiest home you could visit where she was happiest when she was trying to feed you the whole time you were there. You always walked away feeling good. She knew how much we loved her and we knew how much she loved us. Losing her is going to leave a gigantic hole in our hearts but we will all strive to live life like she did. We will be having a celebration of life in July for this fantastic women and want all of her friends, coworkers or anyone that she touched to come, to share stories or bring them written down. She would want us all to have one big hoorah together, filled with lots of laughter. We will post something as it gets closer with details.
