Weezy and Waylon are my 2 yearlings that are in need of some ground work! I slowly start my yearlings with ground training to make their transition into being broke to ride that much easier!

I would love to see a video that shows what looks “good” and “bad” in horses or what makes each horse good for each event. When I watch your videos I just think “I don’t know what that means but looks good to me” 👍🏼

Waylon has grown so much in the last year. Its honestly really wild to see him growing up from the little one who had to get tapped on the nose for nipping to such a gentleman 🤣
Ohhh my goodness how beautiful those two are! The way Weezy stood so tall and her ears forward was gorgeous. Waylon is one handsome boy, his coloring is perfect!

I've been watching these two from basically the start and I'm glad to see them growing up so well. Waylon seems to have decided that he wants to keep his giblets.

I would keep Waylon, he make a great addition to your farm. I had a colt out of a registered standard breed trotter(mare) and sire being a triple registered blue blooded fox trotter. I worked with him from the time he was born, doing all the ground, driving, lunging, desensitizing him and riding. He was around mares all the time, he was still sweet, mannered and could handle him. I would have kept him for his life time, he got injured and could no longer hold adult weight and he became a kids horse even as a stallion. He was trained to be a trail horse along with me training to be a gaited show horse. Waylon looks to be a very sweet colt. Hope he stays that way, even around mares.

This is my first time watching you. I have two rescue yearlings a boy and a girl. I love your chatty, kind bond with them. Love your style. You're a good model for me. I love how relaxed you are with them just being babies. Do you have anything about loading this age?
Katie! I think you should definitely do some sort of video about Secretariat since this is the 50th anniversary of his incredible run. I know racing isn’t your thing, but now you have a thoroughbred 🥰 it would be cool to hear your take on his insane conformation. Big Red was such a beauty.

I had the same thing with mine and my vet recommended a calcium supplement. Of course I can’t remember the name of it now it’s coming in Feed stores. It starts with CAL or H a silver label just to support them through those growth spurts I wouldn’t change her feet.

He would make a beautiful breeding stallion someday, hes so well behaved too! People sterotype stallions to be insane but i dont think so, ive seen many crazy stallions but same with geldings and mares. His face marking has grown so much too 😍😍😍😍 what a beautiful colt

Do you think Waylon could be the next VS Code Red or the next Allocate your Assets? I don't know a lot about horses except form what I have learned from your videos. But he is so good and very handsome.

How do you decide what class your horses are going to be trained in?
If I could ever afford a horse like Waylon, he would be my dream horse. I would keep him as a stallion- perfect size, just above a pony, and stunning, with great breeding- I'd show him in endurance, and competitive trail riding, and/or maybe a Search and Rescue horse- I know that seems odd for a horse like him, but it isn't.
