Hey Megheads. It’s been a while, huh?
We've missed you guys, and we know that y'all (understandably) have a lot of questions about the future of SuperMega. We wanna take a moment to give y’all an official update on the state of things.
So, first and foremost, what is the future of SuperMega? Well, to rip off the band-aid, the truth is that we do not have any definitive plans, one way or another, about the future of SuperMega. We've been asking ourselves many of the same questions that you've been asking us over the last few weeks. In our eyes, it would not be right for us to continue to put new content on the channel without genuinely reflecting on our past and contemplating what we want for the future. This could mean resuming the channel in the future, taking a lengthy hiatus, or deciding to say goodbye for good. We simply haven't had enough time to process everything and come to a decision that feels right for our fans, our loved ones, and our mental health. We know that the lack of a concrete decision will be disappointing to some, and we really do apologize for this.
Without you guys, we wouldn’t have been able to spend so many years creating and having fun. It’s been a hell of a ride up to this point, and you’ve given two dumbasses from South Carolina the ultimate gift of allowing us to share our lives, content, and friendship with you while getting to do our favorite thing in the world - create. For this, we will always be immensely grateful. Should any decisions be made moving forward, we'll make sure to share them openly. However, for now, we're signing off.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Your uncles Matthew and Ryan will always love ya.

It didn’t happen, but healing takes time. I took this holiday to visit my friends grave and forgive my uncle. I feel more at peace. If we do have Supermega back, we shall welcome them with open arms, but for now all I hope is that they and everyone involved take their time.

On a site that contains groomers, scammers, abusers, murderers, rapists, etc who upload to this second with not a problem, Matt and Ryan getting harassed off the internet doesn’t sit well with me. Of all the situations I’ve seen crop up on CZcams, two guys fumbling a situation they were not ever prepared for, all this seems especially harsh. Not to absolve Matt or Ryan of any hand, or lack there of, they had in the situation, just an observation on my part

While I was in the military, I hadn’t gotten to see my family in years. My sister and I would bond over Supermega during calls. It helped get me through. We still watch and listen to the all the play throughs and podcasts and quote them more than we should lol

I applied for the most random job in a completely different field and somehow I got it. now I love the work I do and I'm so thankful every day for the decision I made to step away. every aspect of my life is better now because of that choice. think about it, ya goof.

I was alone for a lot of my early teenage years, I didn't have much friends to talk too and I spent most of my time riding my bicycle around my city. 90% of that time, I was listening to the SuperMegaCast. Thank you Matt and Ryan for helping me feel like I wasn't alone when I needed friends the most. It's impossible to fully explain how much SuperMega means to me. If this is the end of SuperMega, I 100% support your decision. I'm sad to see you go, but your videos gave me the time I needed to be happy, so I support you taking that time as well. I also just wanna thank you both so much for the impact you’ve had on my life, I’ve been a fan since the cyndago days when I was only 15 and now I’m 23 and your content has been such a light in my life during the darkest times. Been watching cyndago and KWP to now supermega since like 11 or 12 and I'm 21 now, they've helped me get through a lot, I know this sounds stupid but I'm genuinely in tears, I'm hard praying this isn't the end for the boys and I'm not even religious
I started watching Cyndago because of Markiplier back in 2013 or 2014, and after Cyndago ended, I didn't really get into KWP. It took me a while to get into SuperMega, but I eventually became a big meghead. I hope they come back when they feel comfortable with doing so, but even if they don't, I'm grateful for the goofs and gaffs over the last decade.

For the past few months I've been working as a janitor and have been binging the SuperMegaCast from episode one and onward; as of right now I'm on episode 161, just finishing it up. I was hoping that by the time I reach the end of the available podcast that maybe The Funny Brothers™ would come back to making content. Regardless of whether or not this channel continues to upload, I'm very grateful that I've gotten the chance to listen in thus far.

I dont think alot of commentors get it. Its not a tempature check. Its not about leaving because drama. They have been through alot and now need time to heal and process. Long time watcher, seriously, since y’all were editors for Markiplier. I’ve only ever commented for a goof or gaff or two in that time. You guys more than deserve the right to step away at any time, this however is refreshing and gave some closure to something that I’ve held very close to my heart for a while. You boys encapsulate friendship, lightheartedness, and weird silly comedy. The fact that the internet has reacted so harshly didn’t sit right with me. You guys have decisions to make and you have the time, but from someone who has grown to love the people you guys really are over hundreds of podcasts and episodes, I really hope this isn’t the end. Things get hot sometimes, but EVERYONE deserves forgiveness and a second chance when you authentically apologize and take it on the chin like that. People understand that, the loudest voices are often the most negative and know, commenters or not, you gained those subs for a reason. You guys matter a lot to some people. Consider it. Seeing people deal with grief with humor and friendship helped me deal with grief myself.
I’ll never forget episode 115 with old Danny. If you haven’t given it a listen I couldn’t recommend that episode enough.
