    Transcript:
Mary Dixon became a pilot at the age of 50.
Francis Chichester sailed around the world when he was 52. He did this alone.
Henry Jay Heimlich developed his emergency maneuver at the age of 54.
At the same age Anthony Hopkins received his first Oscar.
George Burns received his when he was 80.
Daniel Defoe wrote "Robinson Crusoe" at the age of 59.
John Glenn went into space again when he was 77 years old.
The Average Nobel prize winner is 63 years old.
Theodor Mommsen received it at the age of 85.
Teiichi Igarashi climbed Mount Fuji and next year turned 100. Then climbed it again.
As for me? I'm 29 years old and I haven't done anything that I'd be proud of... Yet.
And because of these people I know that I still have time.
    I guess, I shouldn't waste it...
Life is not divided into episodes. It's whole. Like a film I'm trying to write right now...
Contrary to popular belief... people don't have "best before" dates - my grandmother just started dating again. Her new boyfriend is 89.
No matter how old you are - you live.

I couldn't agree more and I really appreciate the reminder about the achievements of people over the age of 50. At 65, I'm finding the conventional mindset ("it's all downhill now") sneaking into my mind from time to time too! This is a welcome prompt to toss it out 😀 and get on with this new stage of life with enthusiasm and enjoyment.

You haven't done anything great yet you say? Here you are trying to let others know they aren't alone with this video, using your time to inspire others and maybe give the ones who feel like they don't quite stack up some hope in that they still have time yet you feel you've not done anything great. Sometimes, it isn't the one huge, blow you away action or achievement that is truly great but all the small things. The ripple effect that your actions and words can have holds the potential to become massive and you've decided to use your actions and words to try to inspire others, let them know they aren't alone and that there's still hope. By my definition, that's pretty great. It may not seem huge but ripples expand.

This is an inspirational film. Speaking as a 40 something who has struggled with the concept of growing old since leaving 30 something, this was just the tonic and the link will be remaining somewhere close by for days when I start to feel it's too late to be something more. Well done, what more can I say, to me you have made a difference!

Nobel prizewinners are a bit of an incongruous pick here: many or most did the work they were awarded for decades before they were honoured. In particular Mommsen, who is picked out for getting his Prize at 85, did the work he got his prize for (in Literature) early in his career, nearly 50 years before the prize was awarded! Higgs' and Englert's Physics Nobel last year was a similarly long time in the making. Nice inspiring video, but let's not overstate it.

I feel like this video will make people think it's ok to wait for things to happen. I think it's important to have a sense of urgency and not rely on waiting around until your 50 to achieve something, no one is promised to even get to 50. I always have felt for some reason I'll die young, it gives me a great drive to achieve my goals...NOW! Still was a great video though :) just saying, keep up the good work mate!

It IS his video, and the comments are something he would like to be able to read without resulting to Google Engrish. As far as I can tell, nothing in CZcams's ToS prevent him from limiting comments to English-only, so that is his right.
Besides, there are a lot of different places on the internet where people are requested to write in English only... it makes it easier to moderate discussion for the people who DON'T speak a second language (of which there are quite a few).

Sorry to criticise, but "Mommsen's History of Rome: His most famous work appeared as three volumes in 1854, 1855, and 1856" (Wikipedia), nearly 50 years before his Nobel Prize (1902). And Barbara McClintock did her most important work before she was 50. So you need to start working for that prize right now, not wait till you're 80!
