Spelling You See | Mid-Year Update & Review

- Hey guys! At the beginning of the school year I shared how we were starting a new spelling curriculum for our 3rd grader since we were having some trouble with the traditional spelling approach. Upon recommendation from our homeschool assessor, we decided to give Spelling You See a try.

We've done a full phonics program that included spelling and like you said it gets so confusing with the rules and the reasons why you choose which "chunk" to use. So he's a great reader but not good at spelling. I think he's really going to enjoy this program! He is not a spelling list kid.

Do you think if a child were to start with a higher level then A would they have some trouble getting into it?
