no you wont keep anything sadly, but steam is overall worth it more than standalone quest 2 gorilla tag. You get mods, long arms, and better movement.@@AtopaxOnVr

They are different accounts. So you will spawn in tutorial on steam on launch. And cosmetics will not transfer. If you do want mods and keep your cosmetics get the oculus app(desktop version),link your headset, then buy gtag and install your mods. Sorry this is late but I did not see this👍

@@AtopaxOnVr install your mods by going to the two dots in monkey mod manager, then click your computer with the storage bar, click program files (without the numbers), then click oculus, another axiom, gorilla tag. Then click done. If you were wondering how to.

So I did everything I went into gorilla tag and then I hooked up my oculus to the computer. Do I have to be in gorilla tag with my Augustus still hooked up how long do I have to wait until my gorilla tag spawn in

Hey, I know you may not be able to comment on this or something or you’re busy but I need your help urgently I already have monkey mod management and then after you get the Camera mod in how do you connect it to your girl tag account and then start playing with it. It’s not like you can just connect it to your PC. How do you get your PC to connect to your oculus because I’ve already tried USB and I just can’t get them to connect. I just want it on my gorilla tag account and be ready

Hey, so basically, when I open steam VR gorilla tag, it just shows me and tutorial with a brand new person. What do I do? Am I supposed to connect my oculus with it or what am I supposed to do?
So the steam acc is completely different from the oculus acc. That’s why you spawned in tutorial. So you need to put the camera mod file into the plugins folder for your steam acc. If you don’t know how to do that, go into monkey mod manager and at the top right, click the two dots. Then see if your mod is In the plugins folder and go back to monke mod manager then click install/update. Then if it was in the folder, it should be inside of stump.

How do I connect steam gtag to my headset
it wont work for me cuz when i click the link for yizzys camera mod it says that is is not commonly used and u need to trust yizzys camera mod befor useing it
it wont let me install it it says its not commonly downloaded and it aint giving me the option to download unverified file

I’m not the person who made this but it work for me so you want to delete gorilla tag and then re download it and don’t worry it will not delete all your cosmetics and everything else a bit and then when you get out of tutorial, you should join the public. If you don’t then try the tutorial again and it should work for me join the public.

Do you have the steam version of gtag? If not, it’s $20 on steam. Then go to monke mod manager then in the top right, click the two dots. I think you go to your main drive under PCs, then go to programfilesx87. Inside of that go into the common folder than steam then anotheraxiom, then click gtag and click done. I couldn’t give exact steps because I’m on a school bus rn but I hope that helped a little!
