She was an absolute smoke show in that movie
She’s a non smoker.
😂😂@@PhillyGirl-pt3vq
"Smoke".?
@Bluecollar,especially the hotel scene. She was a smoke show. Also in Trading Places she goes topless. There not bad size either
Smokeshow means she's hot. Not that she was smoking a cigarette
She killed it in that movie.
And when the dance scene started, everyone was like WHOA 🤯
Her acting nerdy was real good acting!
I'm a boomer and need you to tell me what "killed it" means because I have no imagination or ability to Google things
@natewilson111 I see the confusion. Killed it in this case means hit it out of the park as far as acting (& how crazy hot she danced in heels)
@@chrisyasus8912 😂 thanks
One of my favourite movies. Arnold and Jamie had a fun chemistry that lit up the screen.
It's a shame they didn't do another film together because of that chemistry.
She was fantastic in that film and I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much without what she brought to the role.
I agree
I married Rambo 😅
How old were u in 94? No one went to see her in it 😂😂...
@@Howiex-is8gq...I was 35, big Arnold fan but I wanted to see her also. Especially after seeing those perfect titties in 'Trading Places'!
Fantastic movie and I actually loved Tom Arnold the best! Think I might watch it now.
Arnold is the first to say he was not a self made man he's had help along the way
Her dancing in that movie oh my God
Body double ...
@jakeofallterrains9048 sorry buddy but no it wasn't
The absolute best bedpost dancing ever, so hilarious. My other favorite movie of hers is "A Fish Called Wonda".
@@jakeofallterrains9048 That lady has never needed a body double in her life. She was always in shape and had an amazing body.
@@hotcrazycatladyme168...Yep. Now I have to go see 'Trading Places' again! Don't know about now but her boobs are so smokin in that one scene, not to mention the rest of her.🎉
Arnold has always been a decent human being that way.

@@brianbizzini7325 of course, have you seen what happens with someone who got Tetanus without a vaccine, or did you forget the people who drowned in their own blood from COVID because they bleed into their lungs?
Not a comfortable kind of dying.
And now imagine it happened because of a nutjob who couldn't properly wear a mask
@@brianbizzini7325 try Tetanus without vaccine
It is a popcorn movie, but it is such a great summer action movie and very entertaining. Tom Arnold was such a great side kick in this movie.
Well said. And I miss movies like that.
100%! I am pretty sure True Lies and Speed came out within weeks of each other. What a summer!
It is astonishing how well Jamie has aged
Whats more astonishing is how you give a shit.
She reminds me of Michelle Nichols she was hot as Uhura, and she was still hot when she passed.
She's in English aristocracy... it's normal.
@@gavin1506Yep, a dead ringer for Miss Jane Hathaway.🎯💯🤭
A baroness no less. Of Saling.
She is still gorgeous.
Look at her mom
Lol. Not even close.
This looks like an old interview
I think LensCrafters is having a sale this weekend....
No she isn't. She was. But not anymore.
They were hot together.
"Jaaamie! Get to de choppaaa!"
😂😂😂
When Arnold's charcter said "Come on baby" right before she grabbed his arm and was lifted through the skylight of the limo about to crash off the side of a broken bridge made the entire theater cheer. I'm talking tears, people were legit crying their eyes out. So you can't tell me these movies these days are on par with what we used to get back in the day. Those 2 were legit movie stars!
Wanna go watch that "Barbie" movie? 😂
Oh grow up
Crying? You have issues.
Fred Astaire, after watching the finished cut of "Funny Face" (1957) insisted that Audrey Hepburn's name be placed in front of his, above the title. Yes, there are mensches in Hollywood, and always have been. #JeanHersholt
Wasn't it Gregory Peck the one who did it first for Roman Holiday?...
"Menches"....
Small hats and crooked noses!!!
The children of their Father!!!
My favorite for Fred Astaire is that Battlestar Galactica was his grandkids' favorite show, so he contacted the producers and asked if he could do an episode just so they could see him in it. The producers were thrilled and cast him as Starbuck's father.
I thought that nothing could make me admire even more Mr. Fred Astaire.
He achived unreachable levels of Artistry in all those films in the, I think, 30's. Acting, singing, being "effortlessly" a Star when that meant SOMETHING.
And yes, dancing like nobody have been able to do it after he did it.
But in a personal level, that one in which he plays a photographer was, I believe more and more, cruzial in the future life choices I didn't know I will take while I was watching the movie at home on TV.
100 years ago movies were the new sensation.
Now not being from that Era I can't help to just keep thankful to all of them for have existed and share their out of this World Talent.
That remains one of my favorites to this day.
Always had a crush on Jamie Lee Curtis.
Still the best adult comedy of the 90s, nothing was better
I used to love Bird on a Wire. Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn.
I have it on dvd it’s so good popcorn movie
Agreed! Bill Paxton was a standout! His sleazy car salesman was HILARIOUS!!
For me she made that movie what it was. Loved her in it!
I get that True Lies was the American film based on a French film….. BUT it is one of my favorite Arnold movies, still today in 2024
I was surprised at how good it was.
Light comedy/action but the chemistry was right. It was funny.
Might be the only one but I like Tom Arnold.
Great movie; well written, VERY well cast
One of my fave movies. Still stands the test of time.
I will forever love Tom Arnold's scene, "get lost dipshit" makes Bill Paxton chicken dance 😂😂😂😂👌🏽
Tom had a ton of hilarious lines. " Women. Can't live with em. Can't kill em either. "
She still looks great. One of my all time favorite crushes ever.
Imo she looks even better. Ages with dignity. A rarity in Hollywood.
They should have made a sequel. I went to see it on a date, not an Arnold fan, loved it.
There were plans to make a sequel with their daughter [played by Eliza Dushku - Faith from Buffy] now grown up and in the spy business as well, with them being a family of operatives. Jamie Lee Curtis was thrilled with the idea and wanted Eliza to be the centrepiece of the film.
But 9/11 apparently meant the script had to be chucked due to it now being in poor taste.
Dark fact, 12 year old Eliza was molested by the stunt coordinator on True Lies, who then injured her in a stunt "accident" to threaten her to keep quiet.
And she believes that's what lead to her drug and alcohol issues.
And he was rumoured in the industry for going after young teens.
She went public after #metoo gathered steam.
Rumor is that a sequel was in the works but then 9/11 happened. The script was too close to real life events so the movie was dropped.
She was great in the movie; actually the highlight…
One of, if not the best Arnold movie
She MADE that MOVIE!! 👍😁💯♥️♥️♥️
True Lies - best movie ever!
That is true, it's no lie.
best?? r u kidding..
Wrong, very ,very good but JAWS IS BEST EVER.
Honestly... out of the two... Jamie Lee Curtis was the showstopper in True Lies.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤a great film, I loved it
She was so cute back then. ❤
Awesome Movie. Loved everyone in the movie.
Similar story on “the defiant ones “ with her dad Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier …
Oh no!!! So she’s a nepo?
@@thunderfeet she's someone who was born into a showbiz family but wouldn't you say that she's talented and has earned her place??? She had no say as to who her parents are but she's been around long enough to have proved that she can act.
That was such a great movie, with lots of adventure and lots of fun!
Brilliant movie. So good of Arnold to agree to do that.
I loved True Lies.
Ms Curtis , may I say this is one of the most brilliant picture.
As much as I didn't like Arnold as my Governor, I have always been able to say he was still a good man with good intentions in his public and professional life.. (Yes, some guys do stupid things in their personal life and I'm not one to judge)
Whoa, wait a darn minute!!! What's your freakin problem?!?!?!?

That’s Big ❤ a couple of Stars ⭐️
One of the rare EXCELLENT movies that I watched it back to back. ❤😅
Huge Arnold fan so it doesn't count with me but that movie was hilarious and well done with Jamie outshining him. For me it was Heat I actually paid to see back to back.
I was a Set Carpenter for In Search of Dr. Seuss next door to True Lies at Canyon Country Studios. Every time Arnold could be seen I'd be carrying a wall walking backwards or some crap. I never got to see him! Lol
Greatest line: Jamie Lee says to Arnie 'I'll handle this!" 😂😂😂😂
She is an absolute gem of a lady!
That changes everyday conversations from "that arnold swarzenegger movie" into " That arnold swarzenegger and jamie lee curtis movie" and that really is a massive deal.
That scene still holds up 😮💨😏
So much of my puberty years was spent watching Jamie in that scene😂
One of my favourite movies of all time
2 class acts.
Best strip tease dance EVER lol ❤
Lol...yep I hit puberty that moment !
She was my one. Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda (the sexiest performance ever!), Perfect, True Lies, etc. Man, she was the sexiest ever!
True lies still holds up today. That is still one of my favorite movies.
Great movie. Cameron has made some real classics and there will never be another ARNOLD
I could watch that movie again with no problem. A classic film.
Lovehersomuch, one of fav actresses, she has so much range, from horror to thriller to Christmas
One of my favorite movies ever
This movie is one of my first memories of going to the cinema without my mom, I just have three before this one : dancing with the wolves, the secret garden and a movie about Ustica's plane crash that I watched with my school.
Then I went back with my mom to watch The lion king that year 😊
It's good of him to not "chopp her" from the title credits. 👍
One of my favorite movies.
one of my favourite movies
Always love Jamie Lee. She is nails every role. She plays.
One of my favorite movies ❤
ARNOLD IS THE BOMB! JLC IS THE BOMBSHELL!
I still remember watching that and just loving it when I was little. Such a good movie
It's a great movie one of my favorites i can watch over and over again.
One of my favorites
She’s one of only a couple of actresses at the time that could have done it at the time. Deserved. 👍🏻👌🏻
She was ABSOLUTELY stunning in every way in that movie. Kudos to Arnold for recognising her incredible value and contribution to that movie.
Jamie lee, Arnold...
boy, those are epic names in my movie star list.
I remeber watching this in the movie theater! Good times❤
For me She’s the best
She smashed that role❤Arnold has a good heart. You can tell in his actions
This is quite rare in Hollywood where EGOS are usually the size of GODZILLA, for a star like Arnold to share billing. And it was an action/romance which would be really hard to market. A testimony to the level of acting & directing that made it as successful as it was.
This was my Dad's favorite movie! It's epic❤
Shes always been absolutely gorgeous
Im the same age as Jamie and have been in love with her since original Halloween. And it just keeps getting better. 😊
One of my favorite movies 😊
One of my favorite movies! Fan of both.. ths hotel scene is hilarious.
Now I have to watch that movie again.. lol. Cool of him to acknowledge & agree.
Still Love ❤ this movie!
That movie was so good
All time classic!!!
Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time
Such a feel good movie, definitely in my top ten.
I absolutely love her. She is a great actress and person. So pretty too.
That body was outstanding
Awesome movie, she's a rocket
one of my all time favorites. Great movie🍿
Saw Jamie Lee Curtis in a flight to Salt Lake City , she’s a nice lady , she say hi 😊
Mutual admiration society.
That movie is fucking awesome!!!
She was a talented actor, not just eye candy which she was eye candy too... She absolutely deserved her name along side arnolds.
She is STILL so fine!!!!
True Lies was a fantastic film ❤
What a badass movie.
Life is about giving a hand up when credit is due. Mister Arnold knows that.
My favorite movie...best movie ever ...this was my first rated R movie I was allowed to watch when I was 9
I remember watching True Lies for the first time and being astounded by her legs. She has aged like a fine wine 🔥
That was such a fantastic movie.
I loved this film, it was action-packed and also hilarious!! The way it ended, however, it turned out that Jamie's character joined Arnold's top secret government agency. After seeing that teaser at the end of the movie, I was hoping they would have had a sequel, but they never did. I would have definitely gone to see it!
