I got a study Bible and that really helped me. Also, in my Bible Gateway app I use the ERV (easy to read) version. It breaks it all down into simple terms for me to understand. Then, if I still don’t understand I Google it and that helps.

I had that confusion when I first heard about it, too. So I look into the Bible, and one chapter earlier explained to me why my LORD said so, no flaw in it 😊😊😊

-'xThere never was multiple Gospels by multiple authors. The Gospel was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own. The religion was hijacked by Rome, the Gospel was broken up scrambled adulterated into a bunch of competing narratives. Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

Hmm, I have rarely seen the word "hate" in that passage, maybe you should check in more than one translation. It's also interesting in the Biblical studies to compare the translation you use with the others.
Also, the next verse in King James is "And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple."(I guess you read King James because that translation is very famous among English-readers and it uses that word), I think by the context it's clear that the word "hate" used in the previous verse really meant something closer to "reject".

Reading a passage out of the Bible is like reading a random sentence from a novel is a HUGE point and an extremely valuable analogy ! It makes perfect sense - How in the world could we understand a random sentence in a novel without reading everything that led up to it. The same is true of the Bible. Context is everything ! Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Whenever I don’t understand a scripture passage, I will first read the entire chapter to read it in its full context. If that doesn’t help, I will go to the Blue Letter Bible to see what my favorite commentator, David Guzik, has to share. If his insight doesn’t help I will pray to God for clarity. Then I will do more research through in-depth study bibles. In some instances, once I understand the Greek meaning for specific words or phrases that applies to the ancient culture, the context will make much more sense.

The Lord has blessed me so in my Bible studies. (Very thankful) Like many people seem so confused by books like Revelations but, when I read passages like where John is describing end times things like an object that has thing swirling above it like maidens hair with eyes of a bug face of a man tail of a scorpion and fire from rear and Foreward, you just have to think here's a man 2000 years ago trying to describe things never seen so all he can do is reference things that people were familiar with at that time. Put it all together and think is there anything today that could add up to that. I think John could have been seeing an Apache helicopter firing missiles on People. I guess just try to think what those things being described so long ago could be in today's world always pray for guidance and be open hearted for the Holy Spirit to translate and help apply in your life today. And it always helps to have helpful tips from you Brandon. Your videos are so enlightening. Thank you.

Dear Brandon, Thank you for all your clarifications, explanations etc. It’s very helpful what you said about reading the chapters before to understand the context and meaning of something sometimes. Regarding mistake #2, I think I have been one that avoids the confusion, but its not easy to look up the meaning of words from the original Hebrew, in fact for most simple folks like me, who haven’t studied Hebrew, how do we do that? Is there a version or a translation of the Bible that is the most correct and close to the original, what would you suggest we do? The same for the locations and familiarizing ourselves with them, how do we do that? I will try not to miss the live training on the 1st. I am in France so it will be 10PM here I think. Will we be able to catch up somehow? Thank you again and God bless you!

So I’m watching this video - thank you again - and I am learning SO much. When you showed the flag with the symbol of pig on and explained it was the symbol for Romans in that region, for a second I wondered if maybe when it said that Jesus cast the demons into the pigs, it actually meant He cast them into those Romans that the pig represented. Is that a possibility at all? The verse specifically says “herd” of pigs “feeding” in that area which does sound like actual pigs but I figured I would show my ignorance and go ahead and ask because you have me questioning everything now because of how often the words in the Bible don’t translate to mean what we think they mean.

I am not disagreeing with you but would like you to consider the following
    Luke 14:26-27
    Luke 14:26 (NASB)
...... yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple
This can be read from the greek as, "but still and not his own life/ soul" ie not hating his own soul, in other words he is still not denying self, and therefore doing life through his own strength and not by the Spirit. And if you live by the flesh you cannot be His disciple and love father or mother etc by the love of Christ in and through you
    Luke 9:23 (NASB)
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself
Like your teaching and may God bless you richly

Ya'aqov/james the greek word "ekklesia" falesly and incorrectly translated "ch_rch" a pagan temple, is assembly, the word ch_rch was falsely added to the meaning much later on. William Tyndale was murdered because he correctly translated it "assembly", and only used the word "ch_rch" where it referred to pagan temples. Paganism is everything outside of Torah, heathens are Yisra'lites who bowed down to other/foreign kings commands, the greeks when they ruled Yehudah. Gentiles are all those outside the house and covenabt

And it means NOT many should be teachers, why?
Sha'ul gives several reasons why, mainly gentiles who cross over from darkness to light, fron the world babylon to Yisra'el, being grafted into us do not know or understand hebrew the language, the history, culture, the land the people or phariseeism and what they taught.
They choke on the milk the principle matters, when a day begins, what the first day of the week is, or how to determine the beginning of the month, or the festivals/moedim appointed times of YeHoVaH, the shadow pictures of good things to come, rehearsels/prophecies...of future events...
bereshyt/gen 1:14 "for signs and moedim/appointed times (NOT pagan seasons, scripture says theres only winter and summer, former and latter rain), and for days and years...
    wayyiqra/lev 23 the moedim/appointed times of YeHoVaH.
Gentiles just having their eyes opened up to the truth that NEITHER Yeshua nor Sha'ul taught against Moshe nor the Torah, nor started another house, nor a religion, and they will suddenly exalt themselves as teachers and prophets, yet they have less than 1% of the truth and what truth they have is poisoned from false teachers of false doctrines. Word picture, so you after years of driving, you finally learn how to check your oil and antifreeze, does that give you the knowledge, understanding and wisdom/skill to hang up a sign on your garage door "mechanic shop now open"?? No!!
Ya'aqov 3 explains further why not many should be teachers, the summary of chapter 3 Ya'aqov concludes if you are still disobeying the Torah, then your heart is full of sin and you have exalted yourself, and your heart is filled with bitter jealousy and self seeking...
out of that is the fruit of confusion and every foul deed!!
This describes the entire ch_rch and every denomination she birthed, teaching the commands of men the doctrines of demons, saying Yeshua lied, that He abolished the Torah on a cross, and that you don't need works of Torah to be saved in the end, you did NOT read and understand what Yeshuas brother Ya'aqov wrote in chapter 2....
Private interpretation which is, "idiots" the letting loose of ones self (to demonic influence and possession), can NOT discern the difference between "perfect", and "blameless", perfect is Yeshua having never transgressed th written Torah in letter or spirit (2 witnesses), or in teaching or interpretation of the Torah. Blameless are every single person since Adam who when they transgress the Torah, sinning, they confess their transgression and sin, and YeHoVaH is just /justified to forgive us and cleanse us by the blood of Yeshua, making us blameless.
False teachers and false doctrines, teach the patriarchs never had the Spirit YeHoVaH indwelling them, that is false and incorrect, beneath MtSinai on Shavuot/pentecost festival of weeks (wheat harvest) the Spirit was poured out, and they spoke in tongues (everyone understanding another), and they prophecied. Scripture explicitly tells us they were filled with wisdom, in the book of Shemu'el/samuel it says, "and YeHoVaH put on Shemu'el". Luqas tells us Zekaryah and Elisheba were both righteous before Elohim, blamelessly walking in all the commands and righteousnesses of YeHoVaH. (plural), Further they were both of the priestly lines. So we know Yoseph and Miryam also were righteous before Elohim, blamelessly walking in all the commands and rigteousnesses of YeHoVaH, or Miryam could nt have borne Yeshua because then He would have been borne in defilement unclean not set apart in sin... and both Yeshua and Yochanan were filled with the Spirit in the womb, long before either was born, long before Yeshua was nailed to the tree, and long before Shavuot/pentecost in the book of Acts. Peopke don't believe scripture and what it says and teaches, they believe what other idiots say it says, what they've read into it!! In order to justify abd hide living in sin like hasatan their father.

Rev says, and to those who endure to the end, shall be saved....those who endure? they obey the commands/Torah AND have the testimony of Yeshua (2 witnesses to establish the matter as truth)
chr_stians only have 1 witness they claim the blood, by 1 witness alone truth is NOT established...!!

"Having done it to the least of these, you have done it unto Me." Sounds like we ARE supposed to put others first. Otherwise, we're just doing religion. Did Jesus come to start up another religion? Maybe He came to show us the way home. That's what I heard anyway.

There are many verses of the Bible that aren't teaching what we think. Like Romans 8:1, "There is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. ²For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. ³what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
The verse must be taken in context it's not merely belonging to Jesus but one must be walking in the Spirit not the desires of the flesh. So if we aren't walking in the Spirit, there is condemnation for those in Christ.

    Psalm 22
    This is saying
God you have cast my soul into a body born of a woman.
You see what you do to me!
Those around me act like herds of animals jostling each other and accepting the world they see.
They deride those that know God and reality.
They only believe in what they see and their minds creayed what they see.
They take your created power and create for themselves.
Yet they will see You, God in me through my actions.
The Earth will remember and generation apon generation will remember through seeing You lead the conscious mind until all see God and Adamas will turn and face God because God is everywhere and everything and the self cannot hide any longer by turning away because even there God is seen in the minds memory.
Jesus is not taking our sin away.
The mother of the worms dies and turns white. The new worms are left on the tree and are red.
Red is falsity rather than blood.
The soul is attached to the body. The body is born here and its origin is from Eve. When the body dies the soul is left. That is the white part.
However, life goes on. This happens on the tree of knowledge. Good and evil.
Eventually, those that choose to be directed like musicians from a director and work together, harmonize in joy. This is seen by all of mans creation and is remembered. What is seen is believed.
We create by the conscious mind or the mind led and directed by God.
The battle of good thought and self thought is like a herd jostling.
If there is water and pasture the herd are at ease.
Jesus is proving a point by OPENLY showing what the body is and what God gives.
It is the dichotomy of what the mind sees against seeing God's creation.
We fell away to create life for ourselves and God says look at your creation against mine.
    Ours is miserable in comparison.
God says look at ME and what you see you remember and believe and it Will Be.
Some do not want to look so deride and kill good thought.
When the majority of life on Earth believes the truth of God's creation, the minority that are selfish are discarded.

There are a lot more scrolls of the Bible letters found SINCE THE KJV was compiled. Making newer translations more accurate than KJV.

Again Brandon twists words and misleads use by pointing the the previous chapter of James 3:1. James was FIRST talking in the first chapter, To have faith, not be double minded and do not humiliate the poor and the rich were in a low position. He then talked about do not participate in moral filth and gaurd your tongue. Then about the religion God accepts is to help orphans and widows and then faith without deed is dead. Then he makes a clear change in direction saying that we should not become teachers. Well if you are going to put this verse into perspective you have to read the new testament and what Jesus says on the subject. mat32:8But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothersAnd do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. Do not blindly believe anyone on the internet like this guy Brando, read the word for yourself and figure out, he was saying exactly that. Don't become teachers because they are judged more harshly, and if you believe Jesus, do not be called teacher at all.
Also, he who does not hate his father or mother... The word is hate μισεῖ (misei) Jacob I loved, esau I hated, same word ἐμίσησα Do not be surprised if the word hates you it hated me first Jesus said... again μισεῖ DO NOT blindly believe this guy or assume he tells the truth. Look it up on the internet, the bible hub website has interlinear and other tools to easily look up to see if this or other people are lying or misleading you like Brandon is doing. Please. Read the word and do your own, do not believe me or anyone else on the internet. This is why I put at the end of my comments. I am not a teacher because they are judged more harshly but actually look it up for yourself.

@@GEES44DC You are lazy because if you would have read my post and looked it up on bible hub, you would see what he said is misleading possibly false especially the word hated which in the context scriptures listed in the interlinear definition of the word and scripture the word is using in it means exactly what it says and not what Brandon is babbling about . Or not. but you can have your own opinion, but only if you look it up yourself instead of blindly believing people on the internet. If you claim Brandon is correct without looking it up for yourself, it is his opinion, not yours and it could be incorrect, and you would never know it because you are lazy and don't look it up.
