I need to do this on my 2011 gl450. Will it need to be recalibrated for the SRS light to go off after the replacement? I wanna get a used sensor on ebay. Any help will be much appreciated

yes, the new sensor has those dots as well, comes a complete unit like in the video

No calibration need it, just erase fault codes and should be fine.

It would not be much different, maybe just the shape. I did different brands and they were similar
SRS lights on without passenger, then turns off with passenger sitting. Does in means sensor is ok, so maybe some reset is necessary? Thank you.
SRS light is airbag light, the sensor only should indicate if there is a passanger present and has his seatbelt fastened

Can not remember price for part, but labour time about 1.5 hours
I checked on ebay is around 140€ new , I’ ll try ti change also myself.
