I watched this Khawai Mena about Tsephon Lungshar life story during the turmoil period of 13th Dalai Lama. Tullku Yeshi la’s explanation is very informative. I believed the loss of Tibet’s independence was as a result of intense power struggle which each faction either aligned closer to China or Britain etc. and for the Tibet regain her loss independence is by studying the in-depth nature of complete turmoil period during 13th Dalai Lama based on the historical facts without any bias. It’s good to have a compilation of historical facts in the form of book after blessed by 14th Dalai Lama and then it should be part of must read by every Tibetan students in the school. We can’t keep blind eye thinking past is past and we can learn lots of good lesson which can contribute immensely towards the cause of Tibet. Though circumstance of that period and now looks different but we still needs to be educated and remain vigilant all the time what’s on within CTA Kashag under the President elect, PT in dealing with the Tibetan community in exile including in dealing of CTA foreign policy strategic approach against CCP under Xi.
I would like to request VOA to have such more Khawai Mena in dealing with each and every high profile figure under 13th Dalai Lama including the reason behind what finally led Amdo Gendun Choephel to be imprisoned by our Tibet government. These facts need to be exposed by bringing to the attention of every Tibetan’s attention. In doing so, we can help ourselves to root out the brutality, secrecy, intense power struggle which some aligned with CCP, some under Britain influence and some to secure our sovereign independent status. That period finally sow the seed of demise of Tibet independence which unfortunately Tibet was trapped under CCP brutal illegal occupation!
