I have also been to many Irish Pubs in New York, Boston & San Francisco. I have never seen a bar room brawl or any sort of fight. The closest was 2 old lads in Cork City got into a heated argument, but when it appeared it may come to blows, others talked them out of it and they calmed down to finish their drinks. If it had been in the US, the Police would likely have been summoned.

Even an American of Irish Linage know Irish have two songs. Ireland Call and A Soldgers Song. Both have very deep meanings, one may feel drawn to one over the other.

This is not our official National Anthem, its only a sports song that discredit the colonialism suffered under British rule for many years in a all Ireland rugby football team, rather than using the official song that's controversial to the Brits
My ancestors on my mom side are Irish. My grand moms dad came from Ireland to South Africa from what I understand, his surname was Brandon. So when the Irish National rugby team play against the English I also cheer for them even though I'm a Springbok supporter. And what is awesome is when Ireland beat the All Blacks, especially in NZ. Congrats on the series win over them. Its a nice that goes to the deepest parts of one's soul. I'm for Ireland for the World Cup 2024.
