Instead of opening Edison, you can also click the record button in the mixer track where your sound is linked to, then, on the top left corner of your mixer, select ¨record as audio file¨ and it will automatically put the recorded sound in your canvas.

1:40 you can also press crt+alt+c to consollidate and then select leave reminder, its just a bit faster and easier than using edison all the time 😊
