Yo nice trick with print anything. Do you also know a way how i can print my ios calendar from the iphone? At this time i have to transform daily to do's tasks from my ios reninderlist into eventlist on the ioscalendar and have to print it out from my mac - my first tries to print it on iphone from Safari didn't work. Great video. Thanks as always. Often Numbers will not allow print a selected range, any tips on that. Typically you need to scale your print so as to print the range you want, unlike Excel Set Print Area.

Great video. Nice, surprising tips. However. Can you make a video on how to skip a printing dialog on iOS device? Something like shortcut/code that: remembers default printer, default paper size.

I use brother printer too my dad always been using brother printer since 2012 and this was our most recent from like 2 years ago that has a wifi function and I use that function a lot having no need to use computer just to print, I never scroll down to check their was more things like double sided options and it's literally there OMG! thank you so much for the tutorial

Do you know if there is anything that i need to set on my router to make my printer appear in air print? My hp used to appear but not anymore since I connected it to my tp link router
If it's anything like a router I tried recently, you have to make sure that the the multicast option for the LAN part of the network is set to IGMPv2 and that IGMP Snoop is enabled. The broadcast by the AirPrint devices flows over multicast and some routers drop the broadcasts by default.

I have an iPad Pro how do I add a printer to my iPad Pro so I can print from it
I use the Hp Smart Pro app or its integration in the share sheet. It works very well also with double page printing. I have to be honest it works even more reliable than with a windows laptop.
Nicola Mastrandrea love that app. It works way better than I’d expected from an HP smartphone app. I use it primarily to scan from, works great.

Thanks for going deeper than most others on topics like these. I didn’t know that you couldn’t print Pages documents from the Files app because I haven’t thought about printing from the Files app on iOS 13. I had just been defaulting to my prior habits of opening a document before printing it. Using a simple Shortcut to print any type of file will come in handy.

Incredibly inconsistent across applications sadly.
I was waiting for something more elaborate, like advanced printing options. What you just showed us is exactly the same in the last iOS versions
To get more sophisticated controls you’re best served using the specific app for your printer.
I use HP Smart for more complex print/scan stuff and it’s surprisingly good.

Which app are you printing from? Often the size is controlled by the app itself
@@tech_crafti usually download images/files and do them from the Photos app because it dosent work on google chrome, it just shows to the options: “share to facebook, instagram,etc.”

This is fine and dandy IF you have a Airprint capable printer. What if I don't like most people? That's where having the best USB-C dongle in the world with a USB A port serves for nothing... What do you suggest in this case? Since you're a Raspberry Pi user I found a way to turn it into print server for none wireless printers but I didn't find a guide on how to do it from iPad. Could you try and explain us, or if you have a better way please share.

So, im new to apple/ipad and im having a problem printing. I have a ipad 7gen. and a epson 2720 eco tank and a epson 6000 printer wifi printer everything connects fine, however when i print the image it comes out discolored even though im printing in black and white. When i send the same image to my cellphone (galaxy) and then send to printer it prints perfect, im using procreate app, and saved images from ipad and experiencing this problem, can anyone help? Any1 know anything about maybe some where i can change printing settings? Like general or sumthing
What I would like to know is how to print just a selected area from the whole page. I can’t find a solution so would really appreciate it if you can share any ideas.
I don’t think there’s a good solution for this out of the box. I have half a shortcut working that does this. I’m going to refine it a bit I’ll put some a quick video showing it in action.

When I print from my iPad onto an HP 4515 and it prints an A5 size onto an A4 physical paper size.. the file size I’m sending through is A4 and A3... do you know if there’s a way to resolve this? There is no paper size settings when you use the “print” in iPad 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

+Leonardo Lopes you’ll still be able to print if your Internet goes offline, it’s only if your local Wifi loses connectivity that you’ll encounter problems.

Dennis Vaughn I don’t have a double-sided printer to test on, but my understanding is that you get an extra option in the AirPrint dialog for double-sided

I was able to print in Notes from my iPad by clicking (in upper right corner) circle with 3 dots, then choosing “Send a copy”. It was in that pull down menu that I saw the print option. Why Apple, is there not a print option when first clicking just one icon❓❓❓
I think this would work well if when I clicked on print, I could select the printer. I can’t find any settings to where I can add a printer. And it says it cannot find a printer to air print to. I am new with the iPad though so maybe I’m missing something.
Hmm, that's strange. Are you on the same network as the printer? I have two AirPrint printers and both show up on the iPad without any extra config.
@@tech_craft Yes. My MacBook which just died, had no problems printing. But now that it died a few days ago, I bought an iPad but I don’t see an option for setting up a printer. I mean the printer doesn’t say air print on it, it’s got a Wi-Fi. I know that much.

Suggestion: Create a video showing and end to end journey in Github, creating your Github account, loading files in your repository, cloning it into your Ipad, etc. Instead of just the tool, teach the process, I think that would be very helpful and you will get the attention of the Github community as well adding a lot of subscribers
I think this is a great idea and I'm glad you've suggested it. It's always hard to gauge what content people are interested in, but I suspect you're right that enough people will care about the end-to-end process of dealing with GitHub from the iPad.
Can you print a specific single page on a multiple page document?
Absolutely. In most dialogs this is done by tapping the Options and then choosing which pages to print.

Depending on your printer, you might be able to install the dedicated control app from the manufacturer.

If your printer correctly reports it supports double-sided printing then absolutely!
Did you know that you can print to pdf straight from the Print Option screen?. Just use a two finger ‘pinch out’ on the document and it will automatically convert whatever you’re trying to print out into a pdf, and from there you can use the share sheet to copy it to wherever you want.

How can you print 4 pages in one on the iPad ?
Excluding any special support in an app I haven’t seen, I don’t think this is possible.
I want to print two Word pages to an A4 sheet, but I have to go to my laptop instead each time. It’s the same whatever size iPad I use.

I filed a request w Apple to create a PDF destination & seeing all the cleverness here, wondering if there is a workaround thru an app or shortcut!

If you don’t have an AirPrint Printer it is still possible to print through your PC and a cable connected printer. There is an App called PrinterPro that facilitates this, need it on both your ipad and your PC. One day I will have an AirPrint printer but not as long as my current printer keeps going!
One other option is to setup a Raspberry Pi as an AirPrint bridge for a traditional USB printer.
Printer Pro works great and allows me to print wirelessly to an Epson that is not AirPrint capable. It sees it as a Bonjour printer, whereas the built in print app doesn’t acknowledge it at all.
I got an issue to print a file that converted to pdf from website. The pdf seems not fit to screen and i cannot adjust it.
