There are certain 'classics' that should NEVER be touched........this is a prime example..................the biggest load of crap I've heard for some time!!!
This version of Africa came out in the late 90s. Pyogenesis weren't the first to do it and it's been remade a bunch of times since. "Classics" being covered and made into rock songs isn't a trend that will go away any time soon. Disturbed remade Genesis' Land of Confusion, Korn remade Cameo's Word Up, Alien Ant Farm remade Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, Megadeath's These Boots Are Made for Walking, Marilyn Manson's Tainted Love and Sweet Dreams... Heck even Jimi Hendrix, Guns and Roses, and the countless others that have covered Bob Dylan added edge to their versions of his songs. It goes both ways, too. Songs have been toned down in covers. Remember Johnny Cash singing Nine Inch Nails? My musical tastes are all over the map, but I definitely lean more towards rock and metal, so I like the originals and the covers.

This is the best fucking cover of any in my opinion. I love Pyogenesis now and eternal.
