They both look like great places to stay in a good location. Did you notice whether the mattress's were hard, medium or soft Jas? I can't sleep on mattress's like ironing boards. 😊 The food in the bakery looked good. Great informative vid. Thank you Jason👍.
Thanks mate, no I didn’t try the beds but what I have noticed is many hotels have mattress toppers and if you ask they will put them on for you if the bed is too hard 👍

Decent prices and for a short vacation, a hotel is always a great place to rest your head. I always like the included breakfast even though it is worked into the price of the room. Loved the pie shop, who wouldn't. It is nice to see that you have so many food options in Thailand. The choices are in abundance and one must watch the intake, it could get out of hand hahaha. Thanks Jason I stayed at the welcome hotel about 3or 4 years a go ,looks like its not changed , older hotel but well maintained and great buffet breakfast, rooms are spacious Last time I stayed at the sunny beach hotel a lot cheaper but no cooked breakfast but plenty of cafes etc serving breakfast for 120 baht , 50 meters to beach
Cracking Jomtien hotel rooms there & nice spacious design too…much better then all the shoebox condos that we see….great locations for dirinkimg & dining & transport too. I liked the Dale boutique hotel as bit more modern even tho no views but nxt to Frasers which is a great restaurant. Tinnies is nice but expensive but get what you pay for!?! Thx again!!😉😎🙏🏼👍🏻
Both looked great options Jason . I stayed in Soi Welcome (1st location ) a few months ago . Google maps show no through access between beach & 2nd road , so great job highlighting access . Both are good options for bahts bus & a quieter location .
I stayed at the TJ last week! Pretty new and the bed was really soft, aircon was cold and quiet! The one bad thing was they wanted 200 baht to turn the sauna on for an hour! Also stayed at 5th Hotel in Soi 5 which was decent🙂
@goodvibespattaya2423 I think we may get our feet wet in Jomtien the first 6 mos. Once we get settled we may go south it seems so much cheaper there looks like new Hospital so everything an Expat needs 😀

Yeah super expensive, most western food and especially imported products are but Thai food is super cheap here and not so cheap in Aus.
