This is an ongoing series on our IGTV channel that we're sharing here as a bonus in case you're not on Instagram! The IGTV format is designed for vertical viewing a phone.
Gautam shows us his main system and then takes us to the fun system in the workshop where he wrenches bikes and Upscale Audio copy. Featuring Audioquest, REL Acoustics, Lumin, Sbooster, JBL, Solidsteel, Vicoustic and other brands because, well, people have pasts, you know!
This needs to be be a series. Great job! And nice systems too.
This is fantastic. Please do more of this!! Helps to see what "pros" are doing in their setups.
Oh my, Bangalore! My late mother went to school at Bishop cottons and trained as a nurse at the Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital! My Grandfather was stationed in India between 1916 until he died in 1939, mum was born there. I took her ashes back there in 1994 to scatter on my grandparents graves. A lovely city and I could see why my mother adored her birth country. Wonderful system you have also!
Love these videos, but the background music is way overbearing. I'm worn out. I just want to hear him talk and look at the gear.
I love these videos. Personal, welcoming, informative and they bring these hardworking folks to the forefront. I’ve been an upscale customer for a few years and have always dealt with friendly and knowledgeable reps there. Kudos and thanks
Nice setup you have! Everything makes a difference! Enjoy the music! ❤️🤜
Great video. One of the most enjoyable audiophile videos in a while 😄
Love the mid century modern vibe of your home. Thanks for sharing your system and wonderful stories.
Hey Gautam! What a great set up you have there! And that interior! Thanks for the video!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
@@gautamraja5217 hello Gautam. What kind of cable risers are you using?
@@nibols23 Hi! They're AudioQuest Foglifters.
Fantastic segment! Thanks.
The “background” music should be less prominent than the narration. So, like he said....?
Wonderful vid.
Hello, you need to try some of my cables, you will be blown away, I'm about to send some to Kevin at upscale audio to try out, he's going to fall in love with them, & so will you if you try them. Lovely system & video👍.
great video and really awesome to get an insight from the upscale staff. congrats!
*** AND PLEASE: could u share the music thats playing in the background? i really enjoyed it! thanks in advance!
Dual Subs . Smart man.
💪🏼🙌🏼
Great video, cool equipment. I’m still running 30 y/o Carver separates w/Polk SDA 2.3’s. 😊
Awesome setup. I’m jealous !
Dig the Schiit monoblocks.
Dig the bike! Unfortunately I'd need it to be the length of a mattress for my Akbash.
It's a Larry vs Harry Bullitt cargo bike. Is Akbash a great Dane??
All about the RELs baby!
Should have shot it in landscape mode.
This was made for Instagram and intended to be viewed vertical on a phone. Don't worry, our main videos will stay landscape!
I don't think either of these guys had a turntable. Unless I missed it.
Background noise...music is too loud and annoying.
Oh my, wish I was there. Hate you Love you.
I used to be on Audio Asylum and used (and posted about) the slightly inflated 12" inner tube.
Wow, so this whole thing could be your fault?? 😆
@@gautamraja5217 well I did suggest the inner tube thing several times... so maybe! It was a very easy way... and cheap to try. And oddly effective.
@@2ridiculous41 seriously, that improvement remains one of my favourite audio memories, the first time the old "jaw drop" scene happened. I clearly remember it, the track I was playing and what the system sounded like. Thank you!
I did the inner tube thing back in the mid seventies for my Dual turntable. Two small sheets of plywood with the tube between them and rubber feet on the bottom board.
@@milesdufourny4813 I'm thinking now of trying it again to see what it does to the gear I have now.
What are the braided cables on the AudioQuest lifters ??
They're AudioQuest Thunder power cables.
question / comment ... I do not understand why a Sub is needed , even with the best speakers selection!!
@@saint6563 Thank you for sharing your knowledge . Respectfully..
You lost me at the Obama book scene.
That's too bad, because the video is about what we all love, music and audio systems!
Good video. Sorry, but the music was ...bad, unnecessary.
sounds like napoleon dynamite
