- FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me and Laura as we start our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International travelling Economy light with just hand luggage!
We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2 at Manchester with Virgin Atlantic which was very nice but lacking in certain areas!
We flew on Diamond Girl, an Airbus A330-300 Aircraft. Flight number VS075 MAN to MCO.

I'm so glad!
For me, you know you’re back in Florida when:
1. You feel a warm blast of air getting off the plane
2. You hear “Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer” on the monorail
3. You see the carpet in the main terminal
4. You get a huge blast of warm air that takes your breath away when you exit the airport and head over to the car hire

No greater feeling than stepping off the plane & feeling that heat. So excited for you both,love your enthusiasm. Travelling isn’t fun anymore & food was disappointing but you do what you have toto get there. Enjoy & stay safe x

There’s no better feeling than getting off that monorail in the main terminal building and feeling the heat, hearing the fountain and getting that familiar smell!!
Theres nothing that beats that smell when the door opens and you go to cross over to the garages.People that have never been to Florida just cant appreciate how good that smell is.Have a great time weve gotta wait till june for our next trip over

Florida looks amazing, we’ve been to Disneyland Paris a few times , a little nervous of going to Florida but watching your blogs we might give it a go

i take travel insurance with free lounge access if flights delayed by an hour. Throw in a technical/staff issue delay and some lovely compo 👍

Just a note, Laura was right, you don’t need the physical tickets. If it’s in your actual wallet so an easy scan you use that to tap, for entry and even pics. If it’s in the app they have to scan it so will give you a physical ticket which happened with my partner. We didn’t go the window though they gave him it on entry.

Hi Andrew nice vlog. We love Florida as much as you do - we are UK DVC members. We are back at WDW in May for just a week this time. Not been to Universal for a few years but maybe next year; I see you have UOAPs… did you have Disney Annual passes previously? Or will you get them when they come back as I agree it’s very expensive buying the UK Disney 7 day or 14 day tickets?

Great video as usual Andrew and Laura. The holiday starts for me when you get on the little monorail to the terminal in MCO. We would hit the parks the first day but its hard with little ones after that long flight. Looking forward to the rest of the trip vlogs 🍻

Loved this vlog! We are back in August not been since 2019/2020. We are aiming to hit Epcot on our arrival day as fingers crossed guardians boarding groups will be over with. cant wait! usually know Im back when we have arrived at the hotel and having a cold beer with the kids in the pool watching a film.

Our first trip to Celebration was 1997, just one year after it opened. Loved it ever since.
We have just arrived back in uk, Manchester left Orlando on the 19th, on the very same plane lol. They told us about the delay in Manchester…And we were on row 57 but in the two seats row next to you. Lol. We found that row extremely tight for space.. when we flew out we were in row 60, in the two seat row, plenty knee space and extra at the walkway as it is wider there.. same here for me with the Gluten free, but bit better than what Laura got.. looking forward to seeing you guys have fun..

Soon as those door open near the car hire and the heat hits you thats when its starts,we use Alamo best service going will never use anyone else,your upgrade was a nice touch me and lou go for a full size suv we love the big American cars,but maybe not till prices come down great vlogs cheers guys lee n lou. Got to fit in a park on travel day even if you have to crawl there lol

Your Alamo arrival was a lot better than ours in December we did skip the line and I don't reccomended it, it was chaos and we couldnt find anyone to help us then the sat nav couldn't pick up a signal, still not sure how we found our hotel lol. Enjoy your holiday xxx
Very very jealous, but fair play to the both of you , enjoy👍🏻 we won’t be going back until 2025 with the family . If you get chance eat at the Cheesecake Factory ( there’s two now) food is very good , plus if you are down lake buena vista end try the Hurricane Grill and Wings , it’s like a sports bar , but the chicken is excellent and you must try the shrimp and mango taco , I had that as a starter 😂. Enjoy and looking forward to the vlogs ( just watched the live at animal kingdom 👍🏻)

We're going to Orlando in April, can't wait! With Virgin as well, so maybe I'll bring something to eat on the plane... You didn't do too bad with the snow in the end. We'll go to Universal when we arrive, not straight from the airport though! Taxi to the hotel first. Looking forward to the rest of the vlogs

I absolutely love your Florida vlogs - you're right, the holiday really does start when you come out of the airport and head over to the hire car pick up. Have not flown with Virgin for a while have been flying with BA & business class which is the way to go for me personally & it does not cost that much more.
You get a better choice of food as well.
The only way that Virgin will know about their food is if enough people complain about it.
Only Virgin and Air Lingus fly from Manchester to MCO

We fly next Saturday and the menu has been changed. Had a look and the main meals don't appeal to me at all. We bid for an upgrade to Premium so checked that menu too and again nothing appeals to me. I actually requested a kids meal as the food on that menu I would eat! 😂

So pleased you got there the first 2 planes in after the closure were the 2 VA A330s from Orlando and Bridgetown so it looks like you were lucky. We just got back last week I recommend Busch Gardens Iron Gwazi for me is one of the top 3 coasters in the World and queues under 15 min too

I absolutely love going the Alamo desk and walking across that cross walk to go get the car and getting that first warmth of the Florida sun, however when I had the car from Avis I nearly died on those escalators in the car park, think that was last May when I met you both
