La sua intensità é totale , nemmeno lontanamente assimilabile a Caballé, Cotrubas o Freni ..... e penso che CORELLI non abbia mai avuto una Partner così intensa e stimolante . E' un peccato che la visione sia così confusa; purtroppo ci restano pochissime cose in video della sue interpretazioni sul palcoscenico. Oltre al suono della sua incomparabile bellissima voce, si può vedere l'intensità della sua partecipazione emotiva nell'espressione del volto che coinvolge enormemente lo spettatore.

Actually after hearing many versions of Don Carlo i believe Janowitz is the best Elizabeth ever.... (look for the live version at Salzburg conducted by Horst Stein featuring Corelli and Janowitz. Only downside is the bariton Waechter who probably was not on a good night. her "tu che le vanita" is just from another world... the purity of tone she has, her neat singing, shes incredible in this role.
janowitz have already sang a lot of things.dispite of mozart strauss wagner weber and so on，she sang some verdi repertoires. she even sang giulio cesare.
