22:37 POWERFUL POINT! To "give" implies sacrifice. It's not a sacrifice for us to go to God, it's a must. He gave and is "The Gift" to us, not vice versa. (The wording at most altar calls implies the opposite).
The giving that we do comes AFTER the starting point of Salvation. It's the daily surrendering to His Will over our wills, to live out His Purpose for our lives; remaining in Him, in spite of warring fleshly desires that combat His Will.

Myron my sentiments exactly I have to listen to most of my videos at 1.52x faster because that’s how the brain God has given me processes things. So much so that I would read 10-20 chapters at a time & had to train myself to read slower. Thinking, speaking , hearing faster than you read is certainly bittersweet

If anyone here had a salvation experience based on "giving your life to Christ," it is no less valid.
I don't agree that it is "Satanic," which implies it's a false salvation experience. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Yes, salvation is a gift from God to us. That gift still requires you to receive it. Ephesians 4:24 says that YOU put on the new man, created in the likeness of God. Yes, your surrender is required.
"Giving your life to Christ" could easily be translated "surrendering to Christ" or "accepting yourself as sinner and Christ as Lord." Ultimately, I agree with Myron that there are more clear ways to phrase the rebirth, but calling it "satanic" seems a bit extreme.
If that is your salvation story, be encouraged.
To be clear, I think Myron is a brilliant man of God. I just wanted to offer my opinion on the matter. God bless.

“A text cannot mean what it could never have meant for its original readers/hearers.”

4:59 “God inspired men to write the Bible”
Speaking of Bible studies. I did a study on the word “spirit.”
In Greek it’s PNEUMA, in Hebrew it’s RUACH.
The idea of pneuma is breath, or wind. We can’t see the wind. But we notice how the invisible wind affects what’s visible. So, you can have 40 different species of trees outside your window. And you see them all move and sway with the same rhythm, and you know that it’s one breeze or wind that’s the unseen power behind what you see. The many point back to the One.
Like wise, we have 66 books in our Bible, penned by 40 authors, over what 1800 years?; but one Spirit, One wind breezing through through them all.
Bible also says that the invisible things of him are made clear by the things that he has made. (Romans)
Again this points to a single unity or Form, or pattern that’s transcendent to the visible and accounts for what we empirically experience.
If you read Plato, he’d say that an essence (EIDOS in Greek ) is the permanent Reality (capital R) that makes a thing (empirical object) what it is.
So, when you empirically see a man, or a square, it’s not that you’re seeing the pneuma or essence in the empirical…you’re seeing what the empirical is pointing to; in the transcendent realm of God.
I hope this made sense and is not contradictory to what Myron is trying to convey, I hope to be in one accord with him and others in the Faith
