Just as the video title says. I bought this controller back in 2012. It does everything I need very well and it's still working great with the current version of Traktor. I couldn't decide what I wanted to play after four tracks so I ended the set. That's why it fades out at the end.
It takes a lot of guts to do something like this when you're not at even 50% of the health you once had. I'm very lucky I can still do what I do so I'm giving it my all. It's very disappointing but I'm doing my best to keep moving forward regardless of how slow the progress is.

@@DJSeanE I know this is different, but my brother has gone thru 26 surgeries on his brain.(since birth, valves and such to relieve swelling, like when born and forngrowth spurts) for Spina bifida living with some special needs everyday.. My parents were relentless for him to walk, he did/does. (He wore a helmet till his teens). He's amazing. Now that my mom recently passed, it's just us. I want to give him the best life possible, see him thrive and happy.

Wow, Marah! That is sad but amazing about your brother! I always tell myself it can be much worse in so many different ways. Bravo to your bro for pushing through all his struggles and for not giving up. I can't even imagine how difficult his life is. I'm also sorry to see your mother passed. I remember you mentioning she was sick not too long ago on the video I posted with the song Lucie sang for me.
Unless someone mentions info like you did about my videos helping them, I never know. I'm glad some of my videos help you. That's why I do what I do. I hope to make people smile even if it's briefly.

Would you say this controller is a little outdated for today’s standards? (im speculating getting one since it’s very affordable)
Thank you for watching and the compliment! Honestly, the 4TRAK is probably on its last breath as far as trying to keep up with today's standards. It really depends on your style of mixing and what options you need. I'm from the old school and like to blend just like I do with vinyl tables and a mixer. I'm not into sample triggering and other things stone DJ's do. The 4TRAK does everything I need very well. It has awesome weighted pitch faders plus high resolution. I play with the tempo set to 4% in Traktor. The only thing I don't like about the controller is that there aren't level meters for each channel. Other than that, it's still very solid for a 2010 controller.
Still got this controller too, and still going strong ! Little tip, if you don't use the LED track progression on each track, you can use them as a level meter for each track. I've done that with mine and it works really well !

Cool, Dan. I only use Traktor Pro 3 with mine so I'm honestly not sure what else would be compatible with the 4TRAK these days. You can find the .tsi mapping file for Traktor on Numark's website.
