He is talking about how the writing was a little silly in this movie. Mark (Chow Yun Fat's character from the original) conveniently has a identical twin brother. It was just to bring back Chow so the movie would make more in the box office. By "cheap" he meant the writer's cop out.
maybe it is a good movie. i didnt saw the whole movie. but c'mon it's kinda cheap. in the first movie this chow fat (sorry dont know his name) died, and now, in the second, there comes his brother or twin brother out of nothing. i thought this was a bit too much... but well, maybe i will give it a try somewhen again.
The Best John Wo Movie...

Love the movie, especially the classic final showdown but man HK movie trailers from that time sure were long!

Best mover ever.best song ..Hong kong yeaaaaaaaaaaaa
This is a very underrated film and a nice follow up to the original. Sure, it's not as good as the original but how many sequels top masterpieces?
ふたたび荒れ狂う血と銃弾の嵐! これ以上凄絶な銃撃戦は描けない!
Can someone please translate the pictographs? I'd really appreciate it.

Why kill mark off in the first to only bring him back in the second.
