I LOVE this song, I LOVE this band. Staind is an extremely underrated group. "For You", "Epiphany", "Everything Changes", "Outside", "Right Here", "Tangled Up in You", the most beautiful song I've ever heard, and several other incredible tracks.
Don't forget Layne. Such a powerfu and moving tribute to the passing of the legendary Layne Staley.

Him with Fred Durst singing his song Outside, live is such a good song.
My favorite part of that performance is that it’s the first time he performs it. Aaron wings some of the lyrics. Super easy to play on guitar too
I love this band. They actually got a award for this song being the most played song of the decade, it's so good. I've seen them twice in concert and they're so good. You have to check out "For You" "Fade" "Outside" "Epiphany" and the "Mudshovel"

@@BKLYN_TZU Mislabeled. there's zero chance Staind accepts themselves as a Nu metal band. Just like people refer to Linkin park as Nu metal. Nu metal is a very specific sound, and Staind does not contain any of the elements. There's a few sounds I would consider having some semblance like "Mud shovel". And yes, I'm 37 Y/o. I was there too. Also, I'll add they aren't just listed as Nu metal. they also contain these tags. hard rock; post-grunge; alternative metal. So which is it?
@@alondor8157 honestly I don't know how old you are but when I was 24 years old when this song came out in 2001 they were a Nu- Metal band mixed w/ other genres but mainly considered Nu-metal go and look up what genre this song is you'll see Nu metal

The first concert I ever went to a was a joint show between Staind, Crossfade, Seether, and a few other bands I unfortunately can no longer remember (it was nearly 20 years ago, in my defense). Staind is one of those bands that sounds just as good live as they do in studio, and this song was absolutely incredible to hear. I'm glad to see this music is kind of gaining a foothold again, even if it's now being called dad-rock 😂

Why? Who knows. When this song dropped, I was a real f'ed up individual and grabbed on to this song. It wasn't really the words so much but the music and how it was played, how it all came together I guess. But I know it helped during that time until I could figure it out. Why no Queensryche? Crazy to think about how Aaron pretty much only did Staind, to get money, and pay for bills and support his family.
It was not what he loved about music.
