    Great video. I just started using one. Mostly at night. I use a few different oils in mine. So keeping it clean is necessary. I got one and my wife has one. I love it. I don’t tell the guys. But it relaxes me.

    Just cleaned all my diffusers with vinegar and a cotton bud, I soaked all the tops in soapy water and got a small brush in the books and crannies! They look amazingly clean now! And smell better too!

    imo they should be cleaned by weekly if being used often. No one wants bacteria in the air

    hi for the lumo diffuser, is the splash guard removable?

    • @jewlhinton
      @jewlhinton  Před 6 lety +1

      Are you referring to the top cover? If you are, Yes. It can be removed for cleaning. However, needs to be there to work correctly.

    What is the best diffuser for a living room or other large space?

    • @jewlhinton
      @jewlhinton  Před 5 lety

      I personally use the Lumo diffuser in my living room and kitchen. (I have 2 diffuser set up with an open concept house) This diffuser can be set to 2, 4 or 10 hours and can cover 540 sq. feet. You can click here to snag one: doterra.me/qSQZ9bq2

      YES! haha. I just did it in the bathroom with the window open. And it's only for a minute to clean it out.

  • @LuckyG999

    I didn't know this is the correct way to clean diffuser. I rinsed my rather new diffuser under running water, and then dried it, filled it up with water. However, when I turned on the power, it refused to work!! I do not know what had happened while I rinsed it under the water? Could anyone kindly help me?

    • @jewlhinton
      @jewlhinton  Před 3 lety

      On some diffusers there is a small hole at the top on the rim. If too much water gets into it, they stop working. Did you ever get yours figured out?

  • @rachelwoolley7919

      Awe man! What kind of diffuser do you have?

    • @loganthompson2882
      @loganthompson2882 Před 4 lety

      if you have a cool mist one clean the bottom part of the diffuser!! the oil could have gunked it up or check the air intake in the bottom for dust and dirt

  • @shreyboodhumeah3394
    @shreyboodhumeah3394 Před 4 lety +1

    but how do you clean it without your whole hose stinking of vinegar?

    • @jewlhinton
      @jewlhinton  Před 3 lety +2

      I do it in the bathrooms and it is never that bad. (Unless you are super sensitive to vinegar smell, then just leave it at the rinse.)

  • @almagutierrez1718
    @almagutierrez1718 Před 4 lety +1

      Oil diffusers in general

    • @jewlhinton
      @jewlhinton  Před 3 lety +1

      I definitely agree people should do research for what works for them. Most of my long running diffusers are interval diffuser, so they turn on and off throughout those long hours.
