Wow...busy on the farm!! If a cat woke me up @ 3:30AM, he would probably be an 'outdoor' cat for a few days!! lol I Hope u got a great price for ur calves! I tk u have a good plan going where Fern is concerned!

🤣🤣 he was supposed to be an outside cat from the very beginning. Found him under a barn when he was just a baby. Brought him inside and he hasn't set foot outside since 🤪

Hey Ashley, Fern looks good to say the least. The not eating is a natural phase they go through after a dramatic surgery like she had, It will come back in time. You moving Hank is a good idea too, If he is a little spunky and likes to bug Fern LOL. Cows Look GREAT !!! and the calves loaded up great for you too. We on the other hand Lost one of our loved Dogs Sept. 1st. Our Vet thought she had a very bad UTI and turned out to be a Ruptured Uterus with they got her on the table to Spayed her, Dr. Shelby Martin called me to let me know and Ziva chances of surviving were about 20 %, We had her put down. Yes this 63 year old man cried like a baby. So with that being said.
Ashley Ruthie and I will continue to say a few prayers for Fern and she will be back to normal in no time. Thanks for sharing your video, Enjoyed it very much. Bye...

So I’ve never left a comment on CZcams before so please forgive me😂 I was just wondering if you have any advice for those just starting out. My husband will be retiring from the military soon and we’ll be moving back to NC and have dreams of cattle ranching. We feel pretty clueless right now though about so many things. I’ve been following you for a long time on here and TikTok and figured I’d ask because situations are somewhat similar.

So sorry for the delayed response. I haven't been on here since we lost Fern.
Gosh, I don't feel like I should be giving anyone advice 🤣 we got our first cows in 2020 from a Facebook ad. The guy said all three were bred and great mamas. Turns out one was a heifer and she was not bred, one my vet estimated to be around 14 years old (with no teeth), and the third was actually bred and has been a great mom 😂 So I guess my best advice would be to get good cows from reputable people, for starters. The better cows you get, usually the less problems you have. Good Luck! Feel free to message me anytime 🤗❤️
