Straw Processing - Mobile Milling & Mixing

Using processed straw can improve rumen efficiency by acting as a buffer. You will save time and fuel by not over mixing with a feeder wagon. You will save on feed waste - our process will deliver a consistent feed that cattle will not sort out. Processed straw will help with dry matter intake in dairy rations. You can process straw for cubicle or yard bedding - even with auto scrapers.
We can process any cereal straw in any bale type to include:
Wheat, Barley or Oat Straw Rape Straw Pea or Bean Straw
Any bale type - Round, Square or Heston
We can even process Miscanthus - this is an excellent bedding material as it is highly absorbent.
Throughput up to 11 tonnes/hr (typically 8 tonnes/hr)
Our Straw Processor is fully self sufficient, with its own lorry mounted loader and qualified operator.
