AMAZING BUT I do wonder why so many others in his situation were not rescued by the "angels" out there. So many others have drowned (even children sadly) and others have been attacked by sharks and died and of course there are countless more examples of when people died a terrible "death" and were not rescued by the beings on the other side. I wonder if it was simply their time to leave this world or they chose not to come back. Who knows but remarkable story.

Always think it's a shame when people have these amazing experiences but fail to then educate themselves in philosophy and theology. Instead coming up with their own systems and ideas, often relativistic.
Sadly enough, philosophy and theology doesn't even believe in NDE's. Maybe it's philosophy and theology that needs to educate themselves in these NDE's. 20 years ago, Christianity thought these experiences were from Satan and Demons. Now Christians are nearly all in with NDE's. Who really needs to be educated here?
I feel the opposite. Many who have turned to theology have had their experiences rejected. Every NDE seems to be completely personal and unique, and in that sense they ARE relativistic.
