Watching this review even though I’ve already bought the Celine belt bag after being influenced by you via Instagram. I’ve been mulling over a Chanel classic flap purchase in the reissue style (I know, crazy with the price increases!) but i’d love to know your thoughts on why you chose the classic flap and hear your take on it ❤️

Ah yes - it's not a great time to hunt for a Chanel bag with the crazy price increases. The reissue is a lovely bag - much more understated than the classic flap. Both are classic and I think it comes down to personal preference. It came down to availability for me - I was happy to add either to my wardrobe, but the classic flap was available and it was a tad cheaper too!

Great video! I have a question regarding the flap area of the bag: Does the space between the suede and leather produce a bubble (enough that you would notice it when you open the bag) under the flap when you try to close the bag? Thanks!
Interesting question! I haven’t noticed any bubbling or any space between the suede and the leather 😁
I’ve been deliberating over which bag to buy for work for a little while now. But I also would like to be able to use for play too, I know, I know, I am asking too much, 😆
Love Celine, I love the Seau Sangle, but when I tried it on in store it felt a little too casual for work.
Then I thought I would just get a a YSL tote as they are east to use and still look polished.
But I’m now back with Celine and I’m heavily leaning towards the Belt Bag!! Have you found the flap annoying, I probably would not use the zip but wonder how easy the bag is to use one handed?
I tend to over think things 😂 and like to make well informed decisions.

A bag for work and play is certainly not asking for too much! I think the belt bag is great middle ground between the two - and I agree that the sangle is a bit relaxed while the YSL tote is a bit too dressy!
The flap took a bit of getting used to, and I put up with it because I love the bag so much! It doesn’t annoy me but I know of others who don’t like it - I’m probably being very unhelpful here!

Hi, Vee! I’m Bee 😁 I watched your phantom cabas video and noticed that you also have a bag liner for that bag. Is it the same bag liner or did you purchase 2 separate liners for each bag? I just got the phantom cabas (thanks to your review!) and I’m interested in a bag liner. I’m thinking of getting the belt bag in the future so I’m curious if the bag liner can be used for both bags. Love your videos!
Hi Bee :) I purchased different liners for each of the bag styles. practically, the liners aren't ideal in bag styles they're not made for as you won't be making the most of the space in the bag and you risk stretching the bag if it's a bit larger for it. so exciting that you have the phantom cabas! it's one of my most used bags!

That hasn’t been an issue for me but I imagine with more wear that they will inevitably wear off

I sold my micro belt bag recently, it’s quite heavy when put too much stuff and wearing crossbody is abit awkward, especially when the strap is not adjustable and it hangs around my hips not my waist as wanted, but I love the design of the belt bag, I’m considering getting the smallest one 😍
oh i hadn't quite appreciated that it would be heavy crossbody, but that certainly makes sense considering it's still quite a bit bag. the pico size is very cute and so so tiny compared to my mini size! 😅

Nice review. I was once about to buy a brand new one for 850€ with a scratch but decided against it…. Bcoz of the scratch lol and neverminding such a great price. Now I got seau sangle and cabas.

Hi ! Did you ever get scuffs and scratch on your belt bag ? I have mine since 3 months ago, worn it a lot and now I have like a line right above where it says CELINE at the bottom and I'm wondering if I should try leather conditioner on it or other stuff. My bag is the grey nano which I got new from Celine store
i've got a few minor scuffs from regular use but they're not very noticeable. i think you should definitely give leather conditioner a try!

I’ve put my blue mini belt bag with a reseller but I’ve been feeling like I should maybe take it back! It’s a shade of blue I’m not sure of and I can’t fit my work laptop in! But I do like the look of it and I miss it sometimes. Do you I should take it back?! 😅
It’s such a beautiful bag! But if you like the style and not the blue colour then perhaps you just need to get another one in a different colour with the $$$ you make from selling the blue version!

Hello! What is the exact MacBook type that you tried to fit in? (size and year)? There are slight differences between Pro and Air depending on the release year and I am trying to figure out whether mine would fit :))
That 13” MacBook Pro featured is about 10 years old :)

I have been eyeing this Celine mini belt bag for years and years and really doing all my research that's why I stumbled upon your channel. Thanks for the in depth review. It's not easy to pull the trigger coz u r right it's not the cheapest thing that's why it needs to be thought out and researched well so I don't regret it. I have a couple of questions though.. the liner inside of the bag, is it suede like texture? and is the color also black or it's like a purple-ly color like other bag owners claim? I am planning to get the black and mini size too.
Also, I know you got it in 2019, do you ever think that you somehow have any regrets buying this now that you have couple of years owning it?

Thanks so much!! The inside of the actual bag is suede but the bag liner that I use (and have linked) is made of felt.
No regrets buying this one at all! I love it 😍 It’s certainly black to me, I’ve never heard of the purply colour issue, so that’s news to me!

Hi, do you still use/own the bag? If so, do you still love it? How do you find the closure? Wouldn't it be easier to zip the bag up and just leave the flap open? Or do you need to close the flap/clasp for it to stay secure?
yes i still use the bag! my thoughts on the closure remain the same as articulated in this video :) personally i prefer for the flap to be closed
