    thank you I live in central Alberta , and my front yard is south facing, hotter than heck some years, Now i know what to look for .

    Interesting and thank you! I am planning a small shaded corner to put a catch basin for water, a St Francis statue, gravel and would like to plant a few winter-hardy shade tolerant plants along the edge. I will look for the small host as you mentioned.

    How to deal with red beetles. They have even eaten my Imperialus Tulips.
