Great words of wisdom on “Dragon” etiquette .
Bump for Skylar and SS paint correction, they do outstanding work.
cant wait to get some stickier wider tires on my 4bw. Yall got a nice pace going
This video is so amazing. Best thing you can do on the dragon is follow someone who is a faster driver in a slower car. Last time I was up there in my C7 I thought I was going fast until I saw a 2003 Boxster S catch up to me. I let him take the lead and I quickly learned that although I was utilizing my horsepower advantage, I wasn't utilizing my grip advantage. I was slowing down WAY more than necessary through turns then powering out when I should have been gently braking, trusting my grip, and carrying the speed through. This is also compounded by the fact that having a car to follow allows you to see how sharp a turn is ahead of time if you aren't super familiar with the road. Some of those corners can turn very nasty if you're carrying too much speed and they get sharper mid corner or have a dip, bump, or other feature than you aren't expecting and can't react to.
Fantastic video ! Things needed saying...should be heeded. And Darryl is a real maven , down to earth and exceedingly kind.
Awesome video and great advice as always. I can confirm about checking your ego, or you will get hurt. I was in my McLaren 12C and had a Golf R32 that was way faster, I kindly pulled to the side and let him by, and just kept enjoying my drive. Lots of blind turns, with high speed, so 100% stay in your lane, or it can get ugly very quickly.
Not letting your ego take over and get you into trouble is a huge boon to have.
Loved this video guys. I also learned something about the road from you guys in this video i really appreciate it.
My trip to the dragon turned out to be one of my most unforgettable trips with my oldest son. Plus I got to meet Justin, Danielle, Mr Danny and killboy. Truly amazing ppl great upload. Can't wait till I can go back and do it again.
Just got my first “enthusiast” car and live in west TN. I’m definitely wanting to get to the Dragon in the fall for my first trip over
Watch out for overtaking motorcycles crossing the double yellow

My buddy just went a few weeks ago and he almost got taken out by a trike crossing the mustard. Like I want to go but I'm not trying to get killed by some old man or a teenager lol I should've went when I lived in TN. I need to gtfo of Wisconsin again and move south again. The roads are so much better.
I hate to hear that but it happens way to often
I moved down from chicago and am 45 min from the dragon. best decision of my life.
The Dragon is my church.... I go there to worship.

I was the 129th like on this video🥰
I like that your promoting Darryl, but don't like the dis on Crossroads of Time. They were the OG. Also, we're running MINIs faster than that, so tell your fastest time or don't talk about it.
🔥
I have some advice...don't treat the road like a closed race course. It's not
