“Your gunna need some pliers and a set of 30 weight ball bearings” - Fletch
They don’t call them a rock crusher for nothing
i had it rebuilt. shit was not in good shape, sounds similar now but much less... bad
Sounds like a rock crusher to me❤❤❤
Hopefully this beast gets a rebuild. Don't change the gear type or it might go silent. I love the sound a freshly rebuilt, factory style M21 makes.
yep its rebuilt! shifts like butter and never falls out of gear or nothin nowsounds great too
@@dan0_y as Mr Burns would say,"excellent"
Looks like a 4 Speed Hurst to me.
roller bearings on the input gear is bad sounds like to me
Or could be m22 rock crusher
@@rileyenia9388 its an m21 mated to a 383 stroker. he was right the roller bearings were bad lol along with several other issues
you right
When i bought a m21 close ratio i was told its identical to a m22 minus the heavy duty internals.
Yes they do make some funny noises... Mine was when I was in third gear and would hold my hand on the stick shift pulling a slightly towards the driver. It was a 69 Chevelle SS. 396 and 375 horsepower Rock crusher tranny 411 12 bolt rear
