    Great Video! We will be looking into doing the same thing later this year. Love the chili!

    Those two trails are way more fun when ran the other way. I like going down 27 and climbing 26

      Thank you. We are working on a couple of new videos from Windrock in which we come up the Jeep Badge of Honor (BOH) trails from the bottom. They will also feature a couple of non-BOH trails.

    Thanks for sharing, looks like a good time in TN.
    On Teal Ox do you have lockers, LSD or any other axle lock? I remember the lift, tires and gears(?) recently.

      No lockers or limited slip, but the brake lock differential functions well for us. We considered adding lockers when we regeared, but chose not to since we will be trading our Gladiator for a Rubicon Wrangler later this year.

    How many days can you spend here doing trails similar to this ? I would like to take a long weekend from Michigan and do those.

    • @TealOxAdv
      @TealOxAdv  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Windrock is 73,000 acres in size with over 300 miles of trails. You could easily spend several days there exploring different trails, especially if you have a rig built for the difficult trails. Even sticking to the moderate trails will keep you busy for days.
      I would recommend taking your time to enjoy the scenery as well as the trails. In addition, Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary is nearby and offers a look back at its history. Camping at Windrock or staying in one of their cabins is your best bet for maximizing time on the trails.

    How much time should be allowed for doing what you show in the video? A full day? Thanks!

    • @TealOxAdv
      @TealOxAdv  Před 29 dny +1

      A lot depends on your skill level and vehicle build. It typically takes us around 4 hours not counting stops for lunch/snacks. We have Jeeps with a moderate lift and 35” tires.

      @@TealOxAdv Thanks. I'm in a stock JL Rubicon. 33's. I have moderate experience (Moab,Colorado, Arkansas, etc.). I'll be there this Sunday, riding solo, but do have a winch. I want to have fun, but don't want to break anything. Seems like these are good trails for that purpose (potentially a little more than I'd like). Thanks.

      You should be fine with those factors considered. If you’d like, you probably can find someone to ride with at the store where you get your permit. I definitely urge caution on the lower end of 27 if they haven’t addressed the ruts. They can damage fenders and/or mirrors.

      @@TealOxAdv that looked like the worst part to me. I hate sections like that.
